I have a question: How come I can't seem to get through to Earthlink, ever? :cry

Dunno, but I have heard that Earthlink DSL sucks from a few people.

They're not bad... but they do not have adaquate support staff.

I once had to call Qwest for support back before they switched me to MSN against my will, and I had to wait one hour and fifteen minutes on the phone. Once connected my question only took 2 minutes to ask and have answered correctly.

How's that for teh suck?

Earthlink / Mindspring is pretty good. Their tech support isn't half bad, but yes - takes frelling forever. Glad to hear you got a decent connection, though.

They don't serve my area. They cancelled my order and never told me. They suck. I hate them. They didn't tell me that I was too far away, in fact they said YES WE OFFER IT THERE, and LED ME TO BELIEVE THAT THEY WOULD BE GIVING ME DSL.

They = supreme suckage.

No, that pretty much sounds like Earthlink around here. I've heard other people I know say that too.

It probably more stems from PacBell (whom I've heard is <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont>) than Earthlink. They're generally very good on the east coast.

I tried DSL reports already, thanks. The ones that offer service are WAY too expensive.
