Disclaimer: If you don't like System of a Down, really, I don't care. Find another thread to crap in.

I've had it since my birthday.

"Mine delusions acquainted,
Bubbles erotica,
Plutonium wedding rings,
Icicles stretching,
Bicycles, shoestrings,
One flag, flaggy but one,
Painting the paintings of the alive."

In a way, they're kind of like Tool. Very consistent style. Unlike some other bands (cough*Incubus*cough) System of a Down maintains the inner fury that made the previous albums, but they don't really mind experimenting on some tracks like "Ego Brain" which is almost a love song ( O_o indeed.)

"What a splendid pie,
Pizza-pizza pie,
Every minute, every second,
Buy, buy, buy, buy, buy,
What a splendid pie,
Pizza-pizza pie,
Every minute, every second,
Buy, buy, buy, buy, buy.

Pepperoni and green peppers
Mushrooms, olive, chives,
Pepperoni and green peppers
Mushrooms, olive, chives."

Mmmmm tasty consumerism. Tasty.

Some tracks you may of had sneak into your MP3 collections previous to "Steal this Album!'s" appearance, like Innervision, which, oddly enough, was chosen as the single. Solid single, can't complain really, although I really prefer Thetawaves

If you don't like Sytem of a Down, I doubt you'll like Steal this Album.

But hey, not everyone is perfect ;)

???? DUMB NAME? What are you talking about?!

They have one of the best names I've ever heard. Most names are just stupid. Now System of a Down, that sounds tight.

The Beatles? Jesus. Who would want to be beatles?

I can think of so many recent stupid names. The Goo Goo Dolls?! WTF is with that? O Town?! A group does not constitute a town, people, come on.

Almost every band name is horrible.

Are your fingers connected to your brain? If you're going to insult a band name, at least insult one deserving of it.

Don't they only get like $0.08 per album sold? Heck, I'll send that cash to them through paypal if the whole point of buying the CD as opposed to DLing the MP3 is to give the decent artists their dollars. Bypass the obese middleman (RIAA) completely :)

Sure, except that then they'd have to distribute, market, and do all the other unappreciated things themselves.

I get tired of the "eliminate the middleman" spiel.

bribe congress(wo)men, lobby congress to dissolve fair use and consumer rights acts, engage in illegal price fixing, create new technologies that allow for copy-protected audio CDs that cannot be played back and which still illegally sport red book audio format stickers, write threatening, abusive letters to paying customers who complain that the product is defective, threaten small businesses which fail to comply with RIAA edicts,

and do all the other unappreciated things themselves.

Okay, now I agree :) 0.5% talent, 99.5% sharkonomics.
