That's puzzling, seems they were filmed at exactly the same time. But I seem to remember Legolas' eyes were blue in FOTR.

Probably just a case of lighting. My eyes are more green or grey depending on the lighting and what I wear.

You see far more of Legolas in FotR. In TTT, he's nearly as sparse as Eowyn.

Legolas eyes have never been violet in the movies, as far as I know. I recoloured them to be purple for my Dasquian sigs.

They do seem to lighten throughout the film though. Could just be due to the light levels at the time though.

Legolas' eyes are blue. Orlando Bloom's are brown. We see both :)
