Well...Forgive me while I once again take a long, hard look at what my American culture has created...:lol

And that, dear friends is the senario I try to avoid in this home.

But think cats instead of rodents.

...Who needs carpets when you've got 400 guinea pigs that wet the carpet?

Jebus... :x We have two guinea pigs, and the room their cage is in stinks like Holy Hell.

I don't even want to imagine the stink that that many guinea pigs would make.

:lol

I used to have one when I was ten. I kept the cage it was in really clean though, so it hardly smelled... but wow. I wish I could see pictures of that house and how it looked. That sounds like one of those bizzare scenes from a horror movie - the door opens and a waft of stench blows you off your feet... then the man-eating guinea pigs lunge from the darkness and naw your eyes from their sockets! You attempt crawling away, bleeding all over the floor, but it's too late! The little rodents begin dragging you inside of the house, where the strench makes you pass out. Then they bring you before their master... and... and... okay, I'm getting a bit carried away... I'll stop now. ^_^;

Lion, I hardly think you can term it "American" culture simply because it happened here. Ive seen similar stories out of Canada, England and even one from China.

It just goes to show the only good rodent is a dead one.

Reminds me of the crazy old lady in Gremlins, with the wheelchair and all the cats. Or as I'd like to think...Helen in 50 years >D

Thinking about that is frightening. I'm allergic to cats and would probably die if I were locked in a house with that many of them. >_<

You know, they breed so quickly and in such large numbers its not suprising. Mice have around 10 babies at a time, and aren't reluctant to inbreed, so they multiply at insane rates - guinea pigs are probably the same.
