The second sword (closed)

Akrabbim takes the shards of quantum metal he retrieved from the planet Ossus during his encounter with Silus. By his approximation, he should have just enough for a second katana. But first things first. He hook on the bottom of his original saber appears to be more of a hinderance than a help. Because of this, he decides to return its hilt to normal.

He lays the sword across his thighs as he kneels and concentrates. He begins moving the molecules slowly... very slowly. His only ability with telekinesis involves moving one molecule at a time. Once he memorizes a molecule, he can then move it around easily, but not before.

After eight hours, he is successful in changing the hooked point into a normal butt cap. The second sword will take days... better to rest before hand. He retires to sleep, preparing himself for the long process tomorrow.

He awakes and quickly goes to work. He arranges all the pieces of metal before him, concentrating hard on the task before him. He opens his mind to the Force, reaching out to the metal before him, and begins the process of forging the sword one molecule at a time. After several hours, an inch of the hilt is completed. He continues his work, long into the night and the day beyond...

Almost three days later, Akrabbim's second blade is complete. It is an exact replica of the original, identical in every way. He stands slowly, hefting each blade, testing their feel.

But long term practice will have to wait. He rests now, regaining his strength.
