Man this little movie rocks, especially around Christmas time. One of the best things I've found that brings one back to the memories of being a kid during the Star Wars years and waiting for Christmas morning to get those cool new toys.

Its really good! I saw it on the SciFi channel when it was showing all the amatuer shorts, right before the release of AOTC.
I wish they would shot it again. Didnt it win 'best film' on that?

I don't know if it was best film, I know it was the Lucas Choice film, the one that he chose as the best but not sure if that means the same thing.

It won overall so I think its the same :) I liked the one where GL fires JarJar and theyre sitting in the cantina. Its so cute!

And the one with the Stormtroopers...its filmed like a documentary, I loved that one, too!

Christmas Taun Tauns was okay... there are better fan films, though, even some that were shown on that Sci-Fi channel special I felt were better.

"Troops" is classic, though, in the realm of fan films. It doesn't get much better than that one. :)
