View Full Version : Darkside Tendencies

How long has it been? How long since he last did anything a person could stick a darkside label on? He's been busy setting up a house for his wife and pulling his family together. No real time for much else. But his master has been missing in action for months anyways, so it works out. Kind of. Well, not really. His training is stagnant, his son grows ever stronger under the tutelage of his tormentor, and he's...dare he say it...turning lightside on his new order. He hadn't been with them a week after its founding before he was off to home again to check on the kids, save his wife...protect the family...not at all what he had imagined himself doing when he joined TSO all those months ago. He's lost sight of his goal somewhere, the destruction of Armaiil, his creator/tormentor, he lost it feeding his daughter and fighting his son, marrying his wife and starting a family. Don't get it wrong, he loves his family, but they're holding him back. The responsibility is preventing his goals. He's devoted the past 6 or 7 months of his life to them. So time for him to do his thing. He's left to find his old darkside tendencies. To broaden his horizons, learn to utilize the Force. He's going to fight Jedi, cause riots, slaughter the masses, do whatever it takes to find his old power in the darkside and bring it to the fore. When he returns home, he will be a Sith Knight. He swears it.

"Hey there, sugar."

The syrupy sweet, feminine voice caused Inu to turn, and the reassuringly soft smile of a young woman greeted him. Golden hair fell gently over her shoulders and her placid, baby-blue eyes stared back at him amiably. Had the Sith any interest in the entertainment industry, he would perhaps have recognized the blonde to be Soraya Taveres, one of Coruscant's most prominent new models. The neck of her dark-red skinny tee was cut down to an impossible length and her hands dug into the back-pockets of her denim trousers, faded black and similarly worn low.

Her hair cascaded to the side as she canted her head. "Why looking so worried?"

"Worried?"

Does he look worried? Possibly. He left his family wide open for his son to run in and slaughter them. But that's not the point now. Sorr can handle herself.

"Hardly."

"No?" she said, straightening her posture. "You look distant... you didn't even hear me approach." Her expression changed to one of concern. It didn't really occur to her that he may not have the faintest notion just who the hell she was... after all, everybody knew Soraya. They had to. "What's bothering you?"

Inu

"Nothing that's any of your business. And who in the hell are you?"

She's familiar, somehow. He doesn't know where he's seen her before. It's pissing him off. Good. He needs it.

With an exaggerated sigh, Soraya withdrew her hands from inside her pockets and placed them lightly on her hips. "Soraya Taveres," she replied, a faint tinge of arrogance lacing through her words. "You know, from all those magazine covers?"

Inu

There. He remembers now, she's a model...some of her pictures are on the magazines that occasionally find their way into the little village he usually lives in. And if she's a famous model...

"Yes...I know..."

A malicious grin spreads across his features and he pulls one arm back, then lands a solid blow in her gut. This one he can ruin simply by inflicting harm upon her...after all, beauty is easily spoiled. But wait, a better idea.

"Let's see the extent of your fandom, shall we?"

Instinct could do no more than warn her of his coming attack, but the in-bred reflexes common to those raised in poverty were somewhat quicker to react. Although her face was contorted with obvious pain, it was questionable just how much of this was genuine. Soraya doubled over and slowly dropped to her knees, gasping loudly. One hand clutched at her abdomen, while the other abruptly pulled a switchblade from within her ankle-high boots and drove it into Inu's shin in one swift movement.

The knife flicks from his leg and hovers under her chin, rising to guide her to her feet.

"You're begging death."

Telekinesis isn't one of his better suits. Half of the things he's levitated in the past have spontaneously exploded...but if it happens to her, it won't matter. He lifts her and starts to walk away, carrying her in mid-air a few meters ahead of him. They enter a public plaza, and immediately the carnage starts. Oh my god, it's a Sith! Save that poor woman! But no one makes a move to do such as that. Everyone's running for the exits.

"Your fans' loyalty is weak..."

The boy felt the guidance of the force lead him to the premises. It was as if a magnite had pulled him, or a tornado. He watched as many of the beings exited from the area, his arm reaching down for his lightsaber with his eyes keenfully narrowed, staring at the girl who was punched. He'd need back-up, he had little confidence in his own ability with the force, and he wouldn't want to confront a Sith with his minature ability, and emotional stability. He'd have to just get the girl and run.

Grasping for the force, he reached down into the postive energies, and shifted himself forward. Running through the ground with his arms fleeing backward as if he was a plane in the sky, he grasped down for the lady. His force boost made it extremely easy for him to carry her as he rushed off, bouncing from side to side thorought the mazes of buildings.

"Hey pretty lady, just stay silent okay, that guy back their was aiming for your death, and I know you from something that would make you infamous, and we all wouldn't want the famous people to be killed, now would we?" He said, jumping up and kicking off a building corner further dorn the path of the streets.

The Padawan rushes off with Soraya. Good. Let them run. It'll be far more fun to chase them down and slaughter them like the cattle they are...

"Run like the wind, little man..."

Jamel is climbing by kicking off the walls of the buildings in a zig-zagging climb. Inu runs to the point where Jamel started his leaps, but doesn't bother mimicking the boy's wallkicks. He simply jumps straight up, drawing his katana. The blade doesn't change, but the pattern of rust on the blade shifts. The nanotechnology detects his rising anger...when the blade changes, Jamel will be in for quite a difficult battle...

Jamel glanced over his shoulder as he kicked off the building side. Mimicking his rhytmic jumps previous, but interupting it with his own intertwine with force combat, and that of martail arts, kicking off the building and twirling in mid air as he held tightly to the waist of the lady. Kicking him along the face he watched on as the reaction to the blow took effect, grasping upon a building top as he fell.

"Man, I hope he doesn't come back, I can't fight against no Sith.." The boy said, pulling himself up, and placing the lady atop before him.

Standing up, he grimaced at the pain that came from a slice from the man, he did manage to hit him during his twirl still, around the rib area, and the bleed wasn't enternally, but it was still painful none th eless, and he hadn't studied in the arts of healing, so he couldn't manage to help himself fully in this matter. Huffing, he ran his hand along the end of his coating and ripped the tough materail and placed it at his wound, after wrenching the blood out with his mucus.

"So, we better be off again mad'am. I'm sorry if the grasp is painful, but I must hold on tightly.." He reached at the ladies waist, rolling her to a side-point, and rushed to the building edge, and jumped to the next. Ziz-zag motioning off the building tops, so the detection of him wouldn't be easy..

Inu reaches for the roof of a building and curls a fist, then pulls hard. The building is too big and massive to be moved by his power, so the telekinetic pull has an opposite effect. Inu springs atop the building and sniffs lightly, for once grateful of his canine senses. Jamel went to his right. Inu follows.

Oh, the things she did to further her business. True, Soraya hadn't before now gone jumping off rooftops in the arms of some... ugh, Jedi, with what plainly appeared to be a rabid dog in pursuit, but the woman had quite the extensive understanding of the Force. She loathed all those who immorally manipulated nature, be they of the 'dark side' or not, and had spent several years rallying against their lawful use - she wasn't entirely a bimbo.

As soon as her savior's feet were firmly planted on the roof of the next building, Soraya shoved her elbow forcefully into his thorax, causing him to release his grip around her waist and reel back from the suddenness of the attack. "Thanks for the ride," she mumbled, pivoting on her heels and drawing out the twin blasters attached to her belt. She aimed the muzzle at Inu's approaching form, then fired several successive shots. It was enough to distract the Sith long enough for her to quickly move to the opposite side of the edifice.

"Bite me, bitch!" she hissed, lips curling back into a most uncharacteristic snarl as she neared the edge. She fired another shot, making a bee-line for Inu's left shoulder, then leapt backwards...

Jamel frowned as his mind slowed down every motion after he released her. He felt lonely, and unneeded all of a sudden, it was a weird feeling that shrinked him past the rank of even a space bimbo. He struggled to gain his composure, and during this he felt the wind hiss a sound as another weapon was flinged at the Sith. He was content on not further the danger of the situation, and he couldn't anger the Sith in this instant, he wanted to create Peace between the two bridges of beings, and not anger.

Swinging his hand forward, beckoning the Force he shifted the shot away, deflecting against the side of a building, but not managing to create any damages.

Twirling about he shook his head lowly at that of the lady, grabbing at the ladies weaponary with that of his Force ability and throwing it away with a simple push. Reaching for her waist, he took her once again in his hold and lept skillfully, and quickly into the air. Landing down on the edge of another building he lept again, and again. He continued this path along the road of buildings, on a straight, hopping bee-line toward the Jedi Temple, where he'd place the body for safety percaution, and if the Sith was to attack the Temple, he'd be overwhelmed with a great fleet of Jedi, or even possibly New Republic Officers.

"What the <smallfont color=#0060FF>-Censored-</smallfont>?!"

Her feet had barely lifted from the platform when the blasters were forcefully wrenched from her grasp and tossed aside. The man lunged at Soraya and again clasped his arm around her in a tight circle, preventing her fall from the building's edge. She uttered a small yelp in surprise as he bounded across to an adjacent rooftop; the shock, however, was fleeting, and soon she was clawing viciously at his limbs without restraint, her nails breaking skin.

The struggle continued as Jamel moved towards whatever destination he had in mind, his grip loosening with every blow Soraya landed on his arm. Taking the opportunity as before when the Jedi came to a temporary halt at the end of his jump, she turned her shoulder so that she was no longer locked to her rescuer's side and was instead facing him - his arm was now sufficiently lax to permit this movement - then lifted her gloved hand to rest below his chin. The cold touch of metal pressed against his flesh, the whetted point of a small knife only just piercing the epidermis. (Gangsters had a knack for concealing weaponry.)

Soraya gritted her teeth. "You <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont>ing bastard," she growled, "do you have any idea how much those frelling guns cost me?" The slightest sign of resistance from the Jedi and his throat would be slit open.

"They cost you your life."

Inu blocked her bolts with relative ease, and gained quickly once she began to resist her rescue. His blade's nanotechnology is now at it's height, and the blade shifts its structure, expanding to become twice it's normal length and breadth. He swings, a vertical circle. Both managed a dodge, and a long furrow marked the point where they had stood earlier.

"Next time...I'll have your necks..."

The young Jedi kept his cool as much as possible, reaching down for his injured placements. Frowning in displeasurment, he quickly twirled, his agile body placed in a crouch in that split second why she still remained in her same position. Lifting the strong bone in his palm to he temple of her head. Stopping in mid-path for her to be assured that a fist was coming, he twirled about quickly clasping at her waist and rubbing her against the blood she made. His arm circling her waist, and directing the top of her head forward, he backflipped off the building, and came down to the unpaved streets of the planet, with air-speeders rushing by.

Landing down on the items, he shook his head at her. He knew of no reason why he would be attacked during this instent, but maybe it was right, woman were truly dangerous. He'd have to restrain her completely if he wanted to her to stop the attack. Letting her down for a matter of seconds he clasped under her breast and lept up with her under his arms. His feet colliding with a building, he scrouched down and pushed off, heading high into the air as if a bungy string was under his feet.

Clashing down on two buidlings forward, he stared toward the Jedi Temple a few buildings ahead.

"You can't keep injuring me, next time during the jump you could be released down to the surface, and be killed immeditately, or ran over by an air-speeder. Stay still, that Sith could kill the both of us, I have no time, nor any strenght to attack him. He's far superior to me in the strenght of the Force as well in the knowledge. Your pride and confidence have blinded you, release it for this instant and we could have this over with and done. Killing him is impossible for you, he's very well trained. He could dodge the shots that you confront him with when he's rock climbing with his feet." The boy lescured her, reaching over her arms, and clasping over them and her waist, tightening his grip so she wouldn't get away, or he hoped.

Jumping to the next building, he was only two steps away from the frontier of the Jedi Temple.

"And where are YOU watching?"

The altered blade scores the Padawan's back. The Jackel grins madly, the insanity of the berserker in his eyes.

Jamel released the hold on the lady quickly, falling to the ground in throbbing pain. The scar placed on his back gradually puked blood, meanwhile his body twitched maddly as the agony filled him more than that of the Force. A tears trickled down his face as he detrimentally gained his feet, staring at the man. A adversarial frown came to his face, as he glared at the man, not truly prepared for combat at all.

She landed gracefully on her feet, following Jamel's collapse as he writhed in anguish, spewing blood from the wound to his back. He was brave... suicidal, even. What the hell was he trying to prove?! Soraya had no sympathy for valiant crusaders of good, especially if they were of the Force-using variety, but... he was just a boy, after all. She groaned loudly, watching him struggle to his feet and face-off against the dog-man - he wouldn't last longer than thirty seconds, at most.

Before the Jedi could make some brash movement, Soraya cocked her head to the side and called out to Inu above the noise of traffic below. "Oi, you! Leave the kid alone - it's me you want, you piece of dog <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont>!" Pause. "Not like that's too far from the truth," she jeered.

Inu's eyes flicker, fading slowly from amber to red to amber again.

"Your ego is almost as big as your backside."

He clenches a fist and pulls down, ramming Soraya face first into the durracrete.

"Pathetic."

Inu throws his sword, plunging it mere millimeters from her face, blade facing her body. The message is clear. If she attempts a move, he will cleave her in two. Turning to Jamel he rolls his sleeves up.

"Fight me hand to hand, Jedi. If you win, I will spare you both. You have my word."

Wearingly he slung himself to the side, staring toward the weird creature. His vision blurred as if acholicly drugged, yet he didn't fear anything. His adernaline was upwarding, and every sense was aware, other then his eyes. Gandering over at the girl as he remembered his comment about her backside.

"I like her backside..." The boy paused, glancing sternly upward at him. Gesturing his hand forward he narrowed his eyes in a showcase of concentration. A rock flew toward the fact of the enemy, taking of him off guard, though it didn't hit him. Clasping at the injured woman, he assured himself not to injure himself in this action.

"See ya!" He yellowed out, and ran to the edge of the building and took a large jump with all the remaining strenght he had in him, falling down softly on the foundation before the Jedi Temple building. Falling motionless, he seemed to fall unconscious.

Her nose. He'd damaged her perfect, flawless nose... her nose, for frell's sake. A nose that most women would spend their entire life savings trying to reproduce. And on top of that, Soraya had just chipped a nail - again!

It took her a while longer to register the comment about her rear, as Jamel had once more lifted her away and begun the jump-routine, albeit with considerably less drive this time. By the time they had stopped, he was faint. Frowning, Soraya knelt down next to the boy, her hand hovering hesitantly over her side before drawing out a small pouch from one of the pockets. There was only a single distinguishing mark on the bag: the word 'Severe', written boldly across the front. The white powder would give Jamel a temporary surge in adrenaline and awaken his dormant senses, just until he could seek proper medical help.

She held out the open bag in front of his nose. There was only a slight breeze, and she waved the powder towards his nose as he inhaled and exhaled steadily, the chemicals permeating through into his body; a minute dose was sufficient. It would take but a few seconds for the drug to take effect, and when it did, Jamel would experience a kind of strength he had never imagined possible.

Soraya looked up, her eyes scanning the skyline for any signs of Inu. No way would dog-man surrender so easily... she didn't want him to, either. She appeared quite flustered after his criticism and her normally self-assured words were now just confused babbling as she searched for some sort of a comeback.

"Backside?? I have a big backside? Well, look who's talking, Mr. Oh-Lookit-My-Dorky-Hairdo-From-Three-Seasons-Ago! You.. you... you frickin pretty-boy!!!"

"Oh, I've been skewered. I'm going to go have an emotionally distressing moment somewhere."

The voice is cold, low, and menacing. It's coming from right over her shoulder.

Jamel Croko'yn
Jan 15th, 2003, 10:00:49 AM
Jamel awoke quickly, he had noticed the presence of the Sith menace before she did, but he was hesitatant to react immeditately until he found his motive. Hearing those words, he felt the anger in them, and with a strong gesture of his hand, and the power of Force wizardy, his lightsaber which fell from him drew to his hand. Bouncing back he sliced at the face of the enemy without him fully registering the attack from the agility, and quickness.

Slicing off a speck of his head, he drew his lightsaber over his shoulder. He felt somewhat renewed, though his wound was somewhat still open, and he had yet to train in the Force to heal such a thing. Glancing over at the rear of Soraya, he smiled, but his attention quickly was disturbed by a shift of the meances body. He didn't want to confront this man in an physical altercation, but it seemed that was the only way to get through him.
