Eid.. Islamic holiday, celebrating the end of Ramadan (month-long fast). I think this one's called Eid-ul-Fitr. Not sure.

Anyone heard of it??

I don't have any muslim friends in Tuscaloosa, so I don't know, to be honest. I have a few acqaintances in Birmingham, but thats it.

Ah. So I suppose Eid celebrations there are pretty much nonexistent, huh? Most Muslims live in the big cities.. like Manhattan or Queens, I guess.

Well, I just don't know any here. I keep to small circles on campus. There are plenty of Islamics in both Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Just none around for me to ask.

Happy Eid to you as well... :) I normally avoid wishing people Happy (insert religious holiday here). I just say Happy Holidays. ^_^
