Diagonal strike to the left side, followed by an equally rapid strike to the opposite side. The sabre-wielding droid met both attacks, only to advance with a forceful overhead blow. The readied Jedi sidestepped the charge, and immediately brought his saffron sabre down directly over that of the droid's. After a brief moment of pressing down on the opposing blade, he quickly let off, and has soon has the mechanical combatant elevated it's weapon for another stroke, the Jedi spun his sabre in a revolving motion to build momentum, then lowered himself and brought his sabre in a horizontal slice through straight through the droid's right leg.

The maimed fighter collapsed; it's sabre turning off automatically has it did. Ki Adi stood above the droid, his own yellow blade held above his head diagonally, prepared for another attack, has if it that was even needed. He wasn't exhausted or sweaty, or even breathing hard for that matter. He had developed a persistant calmness that wouldn't fade, even in some of his worst scuffles. This calmness prevented him from attacking out of senseless anger, giving him the advantage in a battle against some raging Sith making random strikes. It allowed him to execute wise advances, thinking of each move before it was even carried out. Using such tactics kept him from engaging in endless struggles and kept him from ever having to maim or badly injure someone.

Though fighting this droid was a helpful and important exercise, dueling against a Jedi of higher caliber than he provided a challenge unlike any other. Drawing in his lightsaber, he looked around. No one in the room but himself. It was rather nice many times, for every Jedi needed their time alone, but other times it was boring, boring next to going sabre to sabre with a skilled colleague. This unfortunately, was one of those boring times.

He let out a sigh and began walking toward the exit.
