The finishing of the saber

Drake enters his room holding the blue prints of the making of a light saber. Drakes sits himself down and begins to study hard.

Reading the plans:

The lightsaber is the elegant weapon of the Jedi Knights. These power swords project blades of pure energy capable of cutting through anything-except the blade of another lightsaber. The design seems simple from outside: a handgrip with several switches ends in a mirriorlike, concave metal disk. Inside the handgrip, [pwer cells and variously shaped crystals are activated to produce the narrow beam of meter long light that gives the saber its name. When activated, a saber hums with power. Lightsabers require extensive training to use effectively. Tradition states that sabers be constructed by their Jedi owners as part of the Jedi training.



The lightsaber is a compact technological wonder built into a handle from 24 to 30 cm long. A single power cell produces a huge charge of energy, which flows through a series of multifaceted jewels within the handle's interior. The jewels focus the energy into a tight beam that can be emitted from the concave disk atop the handle. Sabers with a single jewel have a fixed amplitude and blade length. Those multiple jewels (usually no more than 3) can alter their amplitude and change the length. The lightsaber's blade emits no heat, though it does flouresce.Adegan, or Ilum crystals, were the types most commonly used in construction of ancient lightsabers.

These naturally occurring crystals spontaneously emit powerful bursts of light and energy when resonant frequencies are run through them.

After reading the plans Drake sets off to find all the parts needed for the finishing of his saber. After finding all the parts he starts to attack everything together. He carfully puts in the powercells adds the emmiter matrix and assembels the lenses.

After completing that Drake decides to test it out , and as he pushes the activation lever the saber blowns up in his face nearly injuring him badly.

After getting up from that blast and looks into the mirrior. His face was all black. After that little incedent he had an idea of creating a double edged lightsaber.

Drake washes his face and starts to collect all the parts (in double) necessary to create his other saber.

Drake finally finished fixing the doubled edge handle (60cm long). He put 3 crystal in each power cell and started to ajust the emmiter matrix, after that he put in the lenses and added the final touch "the safety".

"Hope this work...."

Drake flip the actiation switch of both sides and a green glow came through out both sides, the energy emmited for the saber extented to 3 meters long in lenght from both sides. Drake successfully completed his task.

Drake then realized one thing
