Picture problems

Righty....I have aquired, (using extensive amounts or trawling) some really really good pics and movable sprites, but they are all in ART format, any tips to change format...cause they are just REALLY COOL!!!

(any help on reducing sprite size(KB's) would be helpful too)

I think ART files are some kind of AOL propietary format. :x

It was a little tricky at first. But I figured it out. Open it up in IE then save it as a bitmap then convert it to jpeg or gif. Here is one. I'll e-mail the rest.

Well... Dyne Darkforce used that pic in his signature for quite a while. He's not around anymore, so I guess it's ok. But I still associate that picture with him.
