Ambrose walked slowly around the Crimson Pitt. Studying every detail on the wall and floor. They seemed bran new, yet, were so old. Some of the places that he had seen while he was still a human were fantastic. But now, it is like they are worthless compared to the Shrine. Now that he was a vampire, everything was diffirent. And yet somehow the same. The statues seemed to move but didn't. The shadow's seemed to walk but stood still. And now, even the faintest smell of blood makes his heart beat just a little bit more. Because, instead of eating food, the young vampire lived off of the blood of the humans. He circled the large dimly lit room once moor, studying everything, making sure that he had studied every mantle piece, every piece of carving on the walls. And then, to himself, started chanting the war cries of his family.

"White Dragon. From this world to the next/My voice cries with life."

The young Fledgeling Vampire started moving his arms in such a way, that it looked like he was cutting the air in half. He began to repeat the martial arts technic that he had learned, and was still learning to this day. The way he was moving was like a dance. Like the rythm to a song. But no music. He stretched out with the force and began to medatate. While continuing with his practices. It was like the best of both worlds.

All of the sudden, like expecting someone, Ambrose stopped what he was doing and looked towards the door. The door did not move. It just hung there like a ship in space. But he could feel that there was more to it than that. Then, as if the door could have been reading his mind, a being steeped into the room. The young Vampire waited in the dark to see who it could be.

Sol watches idly, the entire thing, masked by the Force. Toward the end Sol drops the mask with an irritated sigh. What is this man doing? Sol doesn't see the point.

"And does this chanting dance serve a purpose?"

Ambrose stopped performing his techniqes in the martial arts that he had learned. At the sound of the mans voice, he automatically knew who it was. Sol Invictus. Ambrose had watched this man for some time now, and thought that it was time to break him in. He looked at him with a crooked smile, showing his long teeth. Something that comes to a person when he/she becomes a vampire.

You shall find out soon enough...

The vampire apprentice stood staring at the middle aged man, curiously. Waiting for him to make the slightest move.

"Let's find out then."

Sol pulls his hat low over his eyes, a habitual gesture he makes before every battle. His other hand flashes and Ambrose is thrown back with the Force.

As the vampire is thrown from where he was standing, he was supprised at how the man reacted. He could see the potential in the man. And knew that this would not be another useless fight. Ambrose rose from where he had landed on his back, on the grond. With Vampire speed, something that is inhereted by every vampire, he runs in front of the man. As the young apprentice stops in front of Sol Invictus, he can see that the man is shocked at how fast he can move.

Ambrose lifts his knee and thrusts it down ward with all of his strength. Hoping it will make contact.

Of course Sol is surprised by his speed. He's slower than he thought a vampire would be. The knee strike is swift, but Sol knows to boost his speed to match his opponent. Still, he barely gets his hand in the way. Sol pushes Ambrose back and eyes him through his reflective silver glasses.

"You're strong, I give you that."

Ambrose looked at his opponent, trying to picture what he looked like underneath the glasses, but there was no picture coming to mind.

Why thank you. And you youself are skilled in combat training.

With that said, Ambrose thrust his hand forward, palm out, into the mans upper torso. He could tell that the blow made solid contact by the sound of rushing wing coming out of Sol Invictus's mouth. All of the air in his lungs surged out from withing his body.

While his hand was retracting into the position it was in before the blow was delivered, he brought his elbow around. Hoping that it will make contact with any part of his opponents body.

Sol gasped and rocked backward with Ambrose's strike, taking him barely out of range of the follow up attack. He backs off across the Crimson Pit, putting some distance between himself and Ambrose as he recovers his breath.

Ambrose let his hate overwhelme himself. He reached out with the force, letting the force flow from every part of his body. The young vampire looked at Sol invictus and saw that the man was still recovering from the last blow he had delivered to the man. It was a terrible blow, but the young vampire thought nothing of it. Ambrose did a Force Push at his opponent and Sol was flown back against the wall.

When his body slammed against the back wall of the crimson pitt, he used the force and picked up two very large spikes. Wider than the mans body. Ambrose made the spikes head straight for his shoulders. To pin his opponent up against the wall. All that would stop the spikes from making contact was Sol Invictus himself. But would he have enough strength left to dodge them.

Sol summons up the dark Force, directs them at the spikes. They slow down and separate, not much, and he twists and slides between them. They carry on and bury themselves in the wall.

Ambrose looked at him with much gratitude for what his opponent had just done.

Impressive. Very impressive. When you are done with your pitiful little force games, we can contunue with our fight.

As the Sith Warrior summoned the force, he picked up Sol Invictus's body and slamed it against the wall. The point of impact was dented by the mans body. Sol's body fell limply to the ground after being slammed into the side wall of the crimson pitt.

Sol is still breathing, but barely. His breath comes in sharp, shallow gasps, and he stands shakily. His body is somewhat frail, so he must continue to rely on the Force. He lifts his left fist, jacking Ambrose up on the wall, then punches with the other. The Force follows the path of his fist, translating into a long range punch that catches Ambrose in the chest. Whether it hurt him or not, Sol can't tell. At this moment, he doesn't care. He just needs to survive, and put what he's learning to use.

Ambrose, on his feet, feels an amount of pain. But not much. He can tell that the mortal that he is fighting is hurt badly. He knows his pain because he once also went through the same thing. He had suffered many bruises and beatings from local boys from where he lived. But when he had fought a vampire, it was a pain that he had never known. He hurt in places that he did not even know existed. And he knew that Sol Invictus was now learning the meaning of pain. After regaining some of his strength back, he walked over. Picking up on of the spikes that he had thrown earlier at his foe, that had no effect whatsoever.

The young Sith warrior applied pressure against Sol's upper body, and held him up against the wall. With the hand that held the spike, he jammed the very sharp end into his shoulder and the sharp end came out of the other side of the mans shoulder and into the concrete behind him. Ambrose heard him screame and admired the tone of the voice.

Now you know what real pain is. Mortal.

Screams? Only in his mind. Sol is tougher than he looks, he'll be reamed out and hanging by his intestines before he even squeaks a little.

"Real pain. I suppose this is what you vampires live for?"

His voice is strained, he may pass out. But he needs to stay awake, at least long enough to hear Ambrose's response.

Ambrose upalled by what the wounded man had just said. He was not expecting that, but anyway. He decided to give an answer to the question he was just asked.

No. We vampires do not strive on pain. It is not what we live for. Yor mortals may think that but it is a lie. What we live for you mortals will never know. Can never know. Can never comprehend.

Sol Invictus
Dec 12th, 2002, 09:32:48 PM
Ambrose's face blurs and fades, but Sol clings to consciousness.

"Never comprehend, can we? No knowledge is too grand or out of reach for men to achieve it. You would do well to remember, pup!"

Pup, you say. Well, Sol Invictus...What is more important to you right now. Surviving this day to live another, or just trying your hardest and still failing. Well, i think that you have already chosen. Fine...Let it stand as it is. I will take you to the brink of death...But before you die, The last thing you see will be my body standing over your body. Laying on the ground, you will strive for life. And i Will laugh

With that the Vampire warrior made a motion with his left arm. Pulling Sols dominant hand straight, he thrusts his right hand upward. Moving with blinding speed, he thrusts the side of his hand into the elbow of his opponents arm. Hearing the crunch of bones and seeing Sol's arm bent in a way that an arm is not meant to go, he smiled.

A broken arm. Sol knows how to fix it. There's not alot he doesn't know.

"If you are quite done, I believe there is nothing left to learn from the likes of you."

With his good arm he breaks Ambrose's hold and walks for the exit, letting his broken arm hang loosely by his side.

Ambrose Braeden watched Sol Invictus as he turned to walk away. His broken arm hanging limply at his side, because of the blow that the young Vampire Warrior had delivered earlier in the fight that had just took place. If Sol Invictus did not get that arm fixed soon, he would be walking around with a cast on his arm for a long time. Knowing how mortals act, because he was a human at one pont in his life, so he ignored the rude, immature comment that he had made. But the best thing that could have happened to him is what Lord Soth had done. Turning him into a Vampire.

I cannot teach you any more? You could learn much more from me, if you would just pay attention. But you mortals, so impatient about everything. For us Vampires, time passes by slowly, so we have a lot of patients. We have a lot of time.

Laughing more to himself than to Sol Invictus, he looked directly at him, into his very soul. Seeing what he could be, what he was not. But was going to be. There was something that every human would have to go through to become a Vampire, it was excrusiating pain. But once you get past the pain, you have power beyond any mortal man could ever imagine.

Your destiny lies upon the blade of a knife. Sway just a little, and you will fall.. Listen to my words Sol Invictus. Listen to them well. If you choose to obey, and choose the right path, you will have a future. If you fall from the blade, for any reason whatsoever, you shall have no future. It is your destiny. Choose wisely.

With that said, the Vampire Warrior turned on his heel and walked out of the door on the far right wall of the Grand Parlor. One of its many secret doors that only a select few know about. The door shut behind him, leaving a blank wall. Ambrose Braeden had chosen that door way because he knew that it was the quickest way to his master's, Lord Soth's, private chambers.
