A 'Text Based' style alternative...

..has been made. It is named 'StreamLined' and is very basic with few and very minimal images. Its just a little better looking than the completely bland 'Text Based' styles. :)

Yeah, but this one allows sigs since I didn't restrict it to 800 pixels wide. StreamLined here at Fans does variable page widths and should work at any desktop screen resolution. :)

I still need to modify the one at Meras to do that too.

P.S. If you get stuck on the style, click the Refresh button in your browser while holding down the shift key on your keyboard and the style set selection box at the bottom of the forums will function correctly.

As usual it shows my tendancy to lean towards mostly "dark" in color styles. :)

Easier on the eyes for me they are. But I do understand that not everyone shares my tastes for Dark colored styles and that is why we have several light ones, though not as many light as dark. >D

Only thing I dont like about it is the mouse pointer turinging into a cross over a link. But that's only me - rest is great

That is intentional so that the cursor obscures the items in the drop down menus at the top right less.

The javascript menu seems to be kind of laggy. It also will stretch the tables in Mozilla for the CIS stuff. You may want to stick the logo on the right and the menu on the left.

EDIT: Ahh haa I see the stretching you mean now. Just moving the RP Groups over to the left a bit shoudl fix that methinks.

Nah, I just moved it to center of its cell instead of right alignment, but thanks for spotting that issue. :)

Very nice, but I'll stick with SW Blues.

I hate that most things with red are always blurry on my puter for some odd reason. But then, the Blue Meras set is blurry on my monitor too ^_^;

I'm stuck on it too -- tried your suggestion about holding down the "Shift" key while clicking on "Refresh" and nothing happened, other than a normal refresh.

P.S. My browser is Netscape 6.2.

Edit: Fixed it by clicking on my usual style that's listed in the left hand column.
