[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr yawned as she watched Kalia idlely, it had been about a month since Kalia had wandered off on her own and since Inu had left on business. She had learned that from Obasan since she had been asleep when he left. She missed him as she could feel the movement of what might be more than one cub, one thing that she couldn't be sure of until he returned but her stomach was definately bigger this time. She was staying with Obasan again for the time being and waiting for Kalia to wake up since she had not much else to do. Finally though, the cub began to stir.

[Kalia]

Kalia yawned and then opened her eyes, seeing mommy looking down at her, still no sign of daddy's scent though. Kalia sighed, mommy still looked lonely, the young cub rolled over then mewed for her mommy to pick her up. Once she was picked up, Kalia nuzzled her mother's face, wondering when daddy was going to come back.

Sorr nuzzled her baby back and sat back down, setting the baby down at her side. Kalia poked lightly at her stomach and Sorr mussed up the baby's hair.

[Kalia]

Kalia giggled and shook her head lightly to get the hair out of her eyes before she went back to feeling mommy's tummy. Silly mommy. A light bop back from inside caused the baby to pull back a bit. What was that? She then put her ear to her mother's stomach, she mewed questioningly at her mother, what were these sounds she heard?

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr chuckled softly as her daughter's confused expression before running her fingers lightly through Kalia's hair.

"That's yourrr brrrotherrr orrr sjisterrr jin therrre...orrr both even, jI get that feeljing sjince daddy wouldn't tell me."

[Kalia]

Kalia mewed again, her baby mind running over a million questions but she couldn't ask seeing as she couldn't talk yet. She listened for a few moments more before nuzzling her mother's belly. All she understood was that a baby like herself was in there, the force told her that much, she wasn't adept enough to tell if it was more than one yet though.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr purred softly and ran her fingers lightly through Kalia's hair, the baby was so cute when she was curious. Kalia purred back and started to relax. Sorr smiled then sang quietly for her baby.

[Kalia]

Kalia looked curiously up at her mommy, the words she was singing sounded different than how mommy usually sounded, little did the young cub know that her mother was singing in Tano, an old almost dead language. Still Kalia's ears fluttered, even though it was different, she liked the sound of it. Her tail swished softly as she leaned her head on mommy's belly and listened to the sounds inside while listening to her mother. The sounds seemed to slow inside, quieting down to the soothing sound of Sorr's voice. Kalia however didn't feel tired, she had just slept all she needed to for a bit.

Sorr purred softly, running her fingers through Kalia's hair until she finished the song. The young mother was beginning to tire though, she yawned before getting up and setting Kalia back in her pen. She called for Obasan to watch Kalia for a bit before wandering in the guest room to get some sleep.

A few hours later, Sorr awoke to a sharp pain shooting through her body. She winced, it couldn't be time yet unless.....she winced again before calling out for Obasan. She mewled at the sharp pains while she waited for the old woman to appear.

[Obasan]

Obasan looked up as she heard Sorr cry out in pain. Time again already, must be twins really. She walked slowly over to the door and called out to Toka to come over. Toka was there in a few moments and then Obasan went to help Sorreessa. Just like before, she found Sorr mewling in pain, curled up in bed.

"Time already, Sorreessa? You're getting to be quite a handful."

She said quietly before she started to help the young woman get ready, Sorr was moving quickly through again and was ready to go.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

It wasn't much more than a hour later before the cry of young child broke out along with the mews of its pained mother. Obasan took to cleaning the baby before she showed it to Sorr.

"It's a male but we still have the other one to get out."

Sorr nodded to the old woman and Obasan set the baby down. It took about 15 more minutes before the second cry was heard. Obasan cleaned that one up as well, a little girl this time. She handed them both to Sorr to hold. Sorr purred softly as she looked them over.

"Wjish jInu was herrre to see them.."

She said quietly, she was really missing her mate now, she hoped he would return soon.

[Obasan]

"He should return soon enough, I've never known him to stay away much longer than this."

She watched Sorr briefly, as usual Sorr was already taking up her duties as a mother as she nursed the male and then the female cub. She smiled, for being so young, the halfling took good care of her young.

[Kalia]

Kalia appeared as Toka brought her in.

"She couldn't stand staying out there any longer, she was biting me a bit, I'm guessing she wanted to know what was up."

Toka said quietly before setting Kalia down at her mother's side. Kalia cocked her head to the side at the new arrivals, looking at them closely but seeming to know not to poke them. Her eyes widened when the girl yawned widely and Kalia mewed softly at her mother.

Sorr mussed up Kalia's hair a little.

"It's all rrrjight, my baby, these arrre yourrr brrrotherrr and sjisterrr."

She looked at Kalia for a few moments before her eyes returned to her new arrivals. She yawned widely and Obasan ushered Toka with Kalia out so Sorr could get some rest. She set the babies in Kalia's crib for the moment so the young mother could sleep in peace since two was a lot more draining than one. Once done, Obasan took up a chair nearby to watch Sorr and the young ones for a bit. Sorr yawned before quickly nodding off, purring softly in her sleep.
