Btw: Know I admit Hale Berry's an Ok looking chick, BUT Why has Bea Arthur never been a Bond Girl?? That's just wrong. I'll probably go ahead and see this film, why not...it's got Michael Madsen in it...and Bond flicks aren't that bad.

But I'm not writing this thread to talk about the film itself...but the theme song.

It has got to be (imho atleast) the worst Bond Song ever! Especially after the greatness of Garbage in the last film.

I'm not real sure what Madonna was thinking when she wrote the song...or performed it or what not...but it's TERRIBLE!

Or atleast I think it is.

So whose with me on skipping the opening credits and just watch the film only? ;)

Oh I dont know. Man with the Golden Gun, Live and Let Die and Goldfinger were good. Indeed, the best are generally in trailers only (Moby's version) or not at all (On her Majesties Secret Service by the Propellerheads) :)

Goldfinger is an outlier.

Man With the Golden Gun and Live and Let Die were good songs. The movies were not that good though.

The best examples are Moonraker (HORRIBLE SONG, cool movie), You Only Live Twice (Crappy song, best bond movie ever), Tomorrow Never Dies (Bad Sheryl Crow gig, but wonderful story), View To a Kill (Best Bond Song Ever, about the lamest Bond movie made)
