Why is it whenever I read or watch LOTR I get hungry?

I haven't figured that out yet...

Hm... That's strange. Maybe it's some kind of childhood association between food and fantasy, or food and reading? When I was young I went to Disney World, and on one of the rides I ate Fruit Loops cereal. It was the Peter Pan ride... with all the tiny little electric cars moving around the minirature scale of London. I threw cereal down into the tiny city and caused huge traffic jams - but anyway, the point is now whenever I'm in a theme park ride I start to want cereal.

So maybe it's something similar in your case. Can you remember anything like that?

Or maybe because the movie is damn long?

Band of Brothers is awesome. I just watched the last epi on tv last night. :) I'm surprised I liked it so much, since I normally don't like war movies/shows.

3 litres??? wow...lol. healthy though :lol

It counteracts my incredible sodium intake...since I drown food in soy sauce :)

Did you watch the series all the way through?

Either that or someone has the stomach of a Hobbit.

Tell me...are you experiencing fluctuations in weight gain yet Millard?

tis the length, it's a long movie so naturally you'll get hungry.....

Or maybe its the football-field length tables piled up with food. The Redwall book series made me hungry for exactly the same reason.

:huh

Why is it when I watch LOTR I see about 100,000 people I know?

LOTR is nothing more than half of GJO runnin' around in medieval garb fighting monsters.

no I think it's reversed. GJO is nothing more than half of LOTR running around w/o medevial garb fighting Sith.

;) :mneh

Sort of. :)

In one, GJO is a bunch of LotR Fanboys.

In the other, LotR is a bunch of GJO Fanboys. :)

When I watch LOTR, I seem to be stuck in a time warp. 2 hours go by as my brain is drained from the Bolrog...

That's precisely what I was thinking.

Better check to see if you're growing patches of fur on your feet, Taylor. Maybe the tranformation to being a Hobbit is starting...
