My Angel(closed, Inu)

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorreessa stretched and purred softly, this rich house's bed was quite comfortable. She opened her eyes and yawned before rolling over to wake up her new husband. She looked at him for a moment, Inu was out like a light again. She sighed before she licked lightly at his neck, the quickest way to wake him up.

[Inu]

Inu shifted away.

"Mm...whyyagoddalikmeh?"

He yawns as he's speaking, it runs the syllables into an almost incomprehensible string. He stretches and rolls over.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr giggled.

"Because jit's fun..."

She said quietly before she licked him again, he should have known by now that he was going to not get sleep when she wanted him up.

[Inu]

Inu curled and kicked, rising to a standing position on the bed. He stepped down and picked up Sorr, throwing her over his shoulder. He then moved to the kitchen and took some sausage from the refrigerator. He heated it quickly and walked out the door, eating his breakfast and walking quickly down the trail to the village.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"Hmm, rrready forrr home alrrready huh? jI was mjissjing Kaljia a bjit myself."

She shifted a little to nip his ear.

"jI'm not a sack of potatoes....."

She chuckled, she didn't mind really but she couldn't see the way they headed and it wasn't a very dignified way to go back to town.

[Inu]

"Sho? Mah hmndsh aw fuw," Inu said past his food. He swallowed before continuing. "You woke me up early, so you'll suffer over my shoulder until I finish breakfast!"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorreessa growled playfully.

"Rrreally now?"

She bit his ear again before tickling his nose with her tail.

[Inu]

Inu jerked his face away and stuffed it with another sausage, popping her lightly on the rear.

"Quit that!"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"Why? What wjill you do, jInu?"

She chuckled and growled playfully again as she got him with her tail some more. If she had to go into town like this, she wasn't going without bugging her husband for it.

[Inu]

He slapped her across the rear again and ate the last of his breakfast.

"That."

By now he could see the village, and the people down in the square. The spotted him, it seemed, they turned and waved, though he was too far for them to tell who they were.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr mewed softly as her ears went back little.

Can jI be let down now?"

[Inu]

"Nope. I'm gonna carry you into town just like this."

He bounded past their hut and made for the square, where he could hear Kalia playing.

"Don't worry, honey," he said jokingly, "You're the purdiest sack o' potatoes I ever did see."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr mewed softly again, she didn't like being carried like this.

"Soooo gojing to get you laterrr...."

She chuckled.

[Inu]

Inu set her down at the edge of the crowd. No one saw her, they were all focused on Kalia.

"Ho there, what's so interesting?"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr stood up on her toes to see better, her cat-like curiosity getting the best of her.

"What's gojing on herrre?"

[Kalia]

Kalia sat in the middle of the group, poking a toy ball. It had been dropped before her, and as she followed its movement her curiosity got the best of her, and her latent Force abilities maintained its bouncing. Looking up she saw her parents and her face lit up with a happy smile. Kalia reached for them, the ball forgotten.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr winced for a moment, she had hoped Kalia wouldn't show her force abilities in front of the townsfolk. She scooped her daughter up and hugged her.

"Was just starrrtjing to mjiss you, my baby. Have you been good whjile we were away?"

[Kalia]

"Beh!"

Kalia hugged her mommy, she had missed her parents. Spotting her daddy, she let a delighted squeal and reached for him.

[Inu]

Inu took the baby as she teetered away from Sorr, holding her close and hugging her.

"Bouncing that ball, were you?" he chuckled. He looked to the villagers. "Thank you for watching her. We appreciate it."

There was scattered commentary from the villagers, basically a "you're welcome" statement, and the small family walked back toward their house.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr smiled at her daughter as she mussed Kalia's hair, despite how she enjoyed spending time alone with her husband, like any mother she had missed her baby.

"jI wonderrrr jif she frrreaked out the vjillagerrrs at all...."

[Inu]

"Doubtful. There have been a number of Force sensitive children born to them, and they interact with the Sith almost daily."

Kalia just couldn't decide who to be with, she reached out for her mommy again.

"Take her...indecisive child..."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"Ji guess but jI hope jit doesn't rrremijind them of Anuberrrjis..."

She said quietly before taking the baby and setting her on her lap. Kalia immediately went for her mother's ears and hair, grabbing both and Sorr winced and mewled.

"Must you do that, honey?"

[Kalia]

"Bee!"

She let go and waved her arms up and down. Her mommy was home! Kalia hugged Sorr again.

"Mah!"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr purred softly and looked to Inu.

"jIt's jimpossjjile to stay mad at herrr."

She hugged Kalia back and nuzzled the side of her face, she had missed her baby quite a bit.

[Inu]

"That's half her charm. She doesn't cause much trouble anyway. The worst she does is pull hair."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr winced a little as Kalia got one of her ears.

"My earrrs hurrrt worrrse than hajirrr..meow...."

[Inu]

Inu gently pried the baby off of his wife and set the child on the floor.

"Go play, Kalia."

[Kalia]

Kalia pushed herself up on her hands and knees and stumbled forward on her face. Undaunted, the baby rose again and managed a wobbly crawl before falling again. She mewed at her parents. It was too hard! Help!

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr sighed and got up to help her daughter a little. She smiled at her baby before she spoke to her.

"And when djid you learrrn that you can crrrawl, Kaljia?"

[Inu]

"When she found out how to pick herself up off the ground."

Inu watched his daughter stumble, catching her with his foot and helping her stay up.

"She's tried a few times...she's been praticing while we were gone."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr nodded, she hadn't seen Kalia try before.

"Hmm, jI wonderrr when she wjill trrry walkjing?"

Sorr's tail swished happily back and forth while she smiled at her baby, Kalia was quicker with every thing compared to a normal child.

[Kalia]

Kalia struggled up on her hands and tottered forward a bit, stopping when she thought she'd fall, and continuing cautiously forward again. Her goal: her blanket sitting a feet away.

"Beh!"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr smiled as she watched Kalia, like any mother, she was proud of her baby's progress. She looked over at Inu, still smiling.

"She's learrrnjing so qujickly these days..."

[Inu]

It's in her blood. And she's been growing up around the older children of the village. It's natural that she would learn faster, to keep up with the older children."

Inu put his feet under him and squatted on the couch.

"She looks to be having trouble though."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"Well jit's a harrrd thjing to do, no baby does jit well at fjirrrst, besjides herrr muscles arrren't used to jit ejitherrr.."

Sorr purred and watched Kalia wander slowly across the room to her blanket.

[Kalia]

Kalia got to her blanket and managed to sit up on her knees briefly, opening her arms before she fell forward on it. The baby sighed and hugged the blanket. It didn't float scarily like the toys, and was her favorite thing.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr smiled, picked Kalia up then hugged her close.

"You'rrre cuterrr than you know, baby...."

[Kalia]

Kalia hugged her mommy and nuzzled her, opening one eye to look at daddy. He was sitting apart and she reached one hand out to him.

[Inu]

"Fine then, you!"

Inu leaned over onto them both and put an arm around Sorr, ruffling Kalia's hair and yawning widely.

"Daddy's tired..."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"You should get some sleep then.."

Sorr yawned, purring softly then stood up, she took Inu by the hand and led him over to the couch. She sat down after him and cuddled in close while still holding Kalia. She yawned again, it seemed she was as tired as he was which was technically a given.

[Kalia]

Kalia's eyes fluttered, she'd been up most of last night, mewing softly for her parents that she mised. Her babysitters were very nice and treated her well, but she missed her mommy and daddy. The whole family fell asleep on the couch. An hour or so later, Kalia awoke. Her parents were asleep. She climbed down slowly, falling onto her diapered bottom, unhurt, and made her way slowly across the room. She was hungry, and mommy was asleep. She'd go get her own food! She knew where it was. It was in the big white door. Daddy and mommy got food out of there all the time. She headed for the first big white door she saw. It was hanging slightly open, and she pushed it aside. It led outside. How was that right? But...the food was in the white door, and that was a white door, so this must be where the food was! She crawled out the door and into the yard. People were walking around, but they were far away. She waved and called out, but they didn't answer her. She moved onward. She wanted to see them.

[Kalia]

She growled softly at the people not noticing her before her ear twitched at a sound of to her left. She turned that way after a moment to see what made it, unknowingly getting farther and farther from her home and the village. But being a baby, she didn't know that the outside world was dangerous and continued on her way, the food had to be out here somewhere and she was going to find it.

[Kalia]

There were trees. Daddy likes trees, maybe there's food here? She crawls through the grass and starts looking for something. At night daddy sometimes gives her a bottle if she wakes up hungry, so that he won't have to wake up mommy. Where can she find one of those? She gets to a shaky stand against a tree and paws at it with one hand, mewing up at its branches. Is the food up there?

[Kalia]

She mewed a few more times before the thought came to her that she would have to climb to go see. She unsheathed her claws and made a try at climbing before falling back on her diapered bottom again. She mewled, it was too hard. Was there food somewhere else around here?

[Kalia]

The baby went further on, looking under rocks and bushes. She stopped before one rock and tried to lift it, but her little arms lacked the strength to move it. A big but crawled up onto the rock and she poked it. Was it food?

[Kalia]

The bug skittered off at her poking. Hey wait up. She crawled after the bug, even if it wasn't food, it was interesting. Her wandering took her farther into the forest as she continued to try and find the food behind the white door.

[Anuberis]

A hand lifted her by the back of her little jumpsuit, bringing her to eye level. Anuberis looked his little sister in the eye.

"What are you doing out here, away from mother and father? It's dangerous, you know."

[Kalia]

Kalia mewled, the bad one who looked like daddy again. She knew even in her baby mind that he was bad or why would mommy have attacked him as she had? Where was mommy now though? Who was going to help her this time?

[Anuberis]

Anuberis walked a few paces, then leapt into the trees, cradling his sister in one arm.

"You shouldn't wander alone, baby sister. There are wild creatures about."

He was here for a purpose, but he didn't care at the moment. He wanted to sit and talk with his sister.

[Kalia]

Kalia mewed again, she wanted to bite him but something told her it would be a bad idea. She mewed a few more times, maybe mommy and daddy would hear her and help.

[Anuberis]

"Stop that! You're annoying me!"

Anuberis at heart was only a few months older than his sister, he didn't know what to do about her. So naturally he got angry.

"What's your problem?"

[Kalia]

Kalia jumped a little at the sudden outburst, she didn't know what to do. She was stuck with scary guy who looked like daddy, she didn't know this was her own brother nor would that have helped to make her any less scared. She looked at him but stayed quiet.

[Anuberis]

"That's better."

He stopped high in a large, strong tree. Setting Kalia on his shoulders he showed her the village.

"Mother and father are down there. They can't help you."

[Kalia]

Kalia mewed, well that's no good, she wanted her mommy and daddy to come help. Why couldn't they help her? She started mew some more but stopped herself, knowing that it would only annoy the scarred daddy look alike further. She looked down at him, why did he look like daddy?

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr stretched a little in her sleep but awoke with a start when she didn't feel Kalia in her arms. She was up in an instant, somehow something felt wrong. She scanned the room before she noticed the door wide open. She couldn't have, but sure enough Kalia's scent went in that direction. She mewled before she shook Inu.

"Wake up, Kaljia jis gone!"

[Anuberis]

"Little sister, you shouldn't be afraid of your big brother! I promise I'm not here to hurt you. But I need something of you, Kalia."

He rubbed his claws together idly.

"Don't cry. It will only hurt for a moment."

[Inu]

"She's GONE?"
Inu was at the door in a flash, sniffing lightly.

"The forest..."

His face contorted into a disgusted sneer.

"Our son..."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr had her chain sickle in her hands within a few seconds, she growled lowly.

"Arrrmajijil jis not takjing Kaljia too, jI won't allow jit!"

She was out the door before Inu could react and following her daughter and her son's scent.

[Kalia]

Kalia shuddered, his tone and his claws were scaring her. What did this one have planned for her and what did sister mean? Her ears went back in fear as she mewled loudly.

[Inu]

The cry echoed down the mountainside, and Inu's anger grew.

"I won't allow this...I WON'T ALLOW IT!"

He blurred out of focus and sprinted with all the speed the Force could muster for him up the mountainside.

[Anuberis]

I won't allow it!...I won't allow it!....allow it...

"Father is angry. Listen to it echo."

He settled Kalia in his arms and tapped her on the arm, pulling a small container. A spot of blood appeared on the baby's arm, and he collected her blood in the small vial.

"Armaiil wants to know what...'potential'...you hold, sister. I'm going to find out."

[Kalia]

Kalia mewled again, what was he doing? What was that red stuff? She mewled again when she heard her father's voice echoing and she could smell mommy as well.

[Anuberis]

"It's blood, Kalia. Your blood. Armaiil will use this to determine your Force and physical potential."

Anuberis wasn't quite sure what was meant by that, but it was what he was told.

"It will be done soon enough."

[Kalia]

Kalia mewled again, she didn't understand any of it. Her ears fluttered as she looked into his eyes, why wouldn't he let her go? Where was mommy and daddy?

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr moved swiftly through the forest as she heard Kalia's mews, her need to protect her baby and her fear urging her to move faster. She spotted her son and her daughter up in one of the trees, she started to climb the tree and yelled up at Anuberis.

"If you hurrrt herrr, jI swearrrr jI wjill make yourrr ljife a ljivjing hell!"

[Inu]

Inu didn't bother to climb. He simply gathered the Force to himself and leapt straight up the distance of the tree.

"Let your sister go!"

[Anuberis]

Anuberis took her by the back of her coverall and smirked.

"As you wish."

He pitched her at Inu and disappeared into the foliage.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr was quicker though and caught Kalia in midair after jumping off. She landed, cuddled Kalia and hugged her close before she looked up and started after her son. Her senses stopped her though as she suddenly felt weak, falling from her crouch to her knees. She shook her head as her ears fluttered, what the hell was up she wondered.

[Inu]

Inu landed and put his hands on her shoulders to steady her, checking her health as well as Kalia's.

"You should not have done that. Are you alright, Sorreessa?"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"jI don't know, somethjing doesn't feel rjight..."

She smiled briefly at Kalia but she didn't feel well, she felt like she was going to faint. Her ears fluttered, wondering, she hadn't done anything different, why was this happening?

[Inu]

Inu picked them both up and walked calmly back to the village and gave a slight sigh, smiling faintly.

"I'm going to found a dynasty."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorreessa cocked her head to the side, not understanding in her dizziness.

"What arrre you talkjing about?"

She said quietly before fluttering her ears again, she didn't want to faint but she was feeling horrible.

[Inu]

He watched Kalia nuzzle her mommy's tummy.

"Even our baby knows what's going on. How many children this time?"

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

"Mew? jI'm not agajin alrrrready???"

She socked him playfully and nuzzled him before she spoke again.

"How should jI know?"

[Inu]

"You're the one with small infants in your belly."

Inu sighed. Training, marriage, parenting, what was he getting himself into? Responsibilites were stacking fast, he had little time for his original goal and purpose. But then, most of what he had to deal with at the moment was well worth his time and effort.

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr kissed him softly.

"Too soon forrr me to tell and you'rrre the forrrce userrr not me."

She then hugged him close though being careful of Kalia, as usual, the promise of cubs made the young mother happy and afterall, she loved Kalia dearly so why would she mind one more?

[Inu]

"We'll see. But not now. Later."

He kicked open the door and took his daughter from Sorr setting her in the pen in the living room.

"Go rest."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

Sorr yawned but made a pout face.

"Why can't jI be told now?"

She looked up at him with a look that seemed to tell him that she wasn't going to rest without knowing.

[Inu]

"Because one, I don't feel like it, and two, I can't focus. Let me get some more training."

[Sorreessa Tarrineezi]

She nuzzled the side of his face, still curious but she couldn't know until he told her so there wasn't much she could do.

"Fjine fjine, you wjin forrr now, but jI want to know soon, the suspense kjills me."

She yawned then kissed him again, even though she wanted to know, she could wait for a bit besides there had been a lot happening in the minutes prior to this. She yawned again as sleep started to overcome her.

[Inu]

Kalia was sleeping off the excitement, and now Sorr was asleep as well. Inu tucked his katana in his belt and walked to the village outskirts. On his way he saw Obasan.

"Old woman, Sorr is pregnant again. Guard her well. I have business, but I'll be back."

In a flash he was gone, running at a full sprint for the distant spaceport, aided by the Force.
