Cool Diz, With the Comcast-AT&T deal I think more people will now have access to cable interent which is very cool, I can't wait till it becomes available here.

I had to wait a year and a half until I got DSL. Early 98 till mid 2000. And then it sucked until December when I switched to a good provider.

Its very nice now and I'm quite happy with it.

You poor people, we have had cable net for years here, I have had three different cable modems :lol

Question though, how much in US$ (or where ever you guys live :lol) does your cable hook-up cost? It's $27/month for the first three, than $55/month after that. Canadian.

I don't know much about computers, but I have a digital broadband modem. It's pretty fast :lol
Plus, I'm not paying for it for a few months, parents are for Christmas. (since I have no phone and no cable. I would die without my net access)

I've got 1.5mb ADSL - but it's Telstra Aust so it has 3Gb monthly cap. Damn well sucks, we have a crappy monopoly who wouldnt know good technology if it were shoved where the sun dont shine
