Where, in the current subdivisions of the Academy, would technical / computer / Saber construction type things be filed under? May I suggest a "Construct" or some other forum for this?

Combat for building weapons. After all, weapons are used for fighting.

Lightsabers are also used for a miltitude of other things. Still, an entire forum just for that seems a bit superfluous. So yeah... the Combat forum may be the best place for that. Or any of the academy forums, really.

Well, but what about clothing or armor construction? Most characters here have clothing, some have armor, but only a few people have explained how they got / made it. What about technical construction, yes it can be used for combat training droids, but what about knowing how to fix your toaster oven?

Toaster oven? You could build/repair that in your room in the LQ. Armor I think would be combat, because it is used in combat.

The Building of Lightsabers normally requires use of the Force for the proper alignment of the crystals. I would think Sense would be appropriate for that type of contruction. Seeing folks blow up their quarters during a failed construction would be tragic.

Ive been working on building my lightsaber and doing it in my room. What with the fire fighters being on strike (in the UK!!!) lets just hope it doesnt blow up! :p
