Okay.. This is for anyone bothering to pay attention to Gitane.

A while ago, she joined Elena in Deigo's Non-Force..ness, because she loves Elena, and blahdy-blahdy-blah. After a while, she still couldn't completely "get off" the Force. It's like a drug addiction for her, or..something. Then, she gets into a battle with Jeseth (thread not complete), where she gets the poo beaten out of her. Gitane decides that she can't survive without the Force, so she creates a clone to replace herself in a daughterly way, then gives the kid her name, while the original Gitane now goes as Fauna Sang.

So..Yeah. ^^; I come up with weird plot lines.
