Just another spar. (Kack)

[Sarr Koon]

In one of the many training rooms avaiable in the academy, a particiularly resltess Kel Dor ran back and forth swinging his lightsaber. His boots echoing off the walls in perfect rhythm. Slashing, stabbing, and spinning in all different directions, Sarr loosened his body for what was bound to be a good spar. The brilliant blue blade of his favorite lightsaber sliced through the air swiftly.

Sarr had met a feelow Padawan known as Kack Mebuff wen he had first arrived at the Academy. The skilled Padawan taught him a quick and painful lesson in the Force. Now that he had been training with Master Verse and his friend Terran Starek, he was more then ready for a re-match. This time Kack would not have it so easy. The Kel Dor had left a message to Kack specifying where and when he would like to spar. Knowing that his request would not be rejected, Sarr waited patiently for his opponent...

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack had recieved a message from Sar Koon, the young padawan that Kack had sparred with several months ago, he wanted a rematch. The young Jedi was very unprepared last time and Kack had given him quite a beating.

Kack was sure the young padawan was more prepared this time ... or at least he hoped Sarr was.

As the door slid open to the sparring chamber Kack entered and saw the young Kel Dor waiting for him.

Kack smiled at the sight of the young padawan. Kack himself was looking rather unkempt, his face was covered with a thick stubble, and his hair was not spiked as usual, rather it hung over his head.

Kack bowed as he approaced Koon. "Sarr, it is good to see you. I look forward to seeing how you've grown in the Force."

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor was a little surprised at the disheveled appearance of his fellow Padawan. It was different from when the first time he and Kack had sparred. Sarr wondered if he could really have called it a spar. A beating was more like it. Nodding to Kack he spoke,

"I assure you I have grown in my abilities, and knowledge of the Force. I do not doubt yours has grown even more. I look forward to this spar."

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack smiled.

"Good to hear. Do you have one of these yet?"

Kack withdrew his lightsaber, but did not extend the blade. He smirked, hoping Sarr had built a saber of his own.

[Sarr Koon]

"I do have my own lightsabers. I am using only one of them."

The Kel Dor pulled his lightsaber from his belt and ignited it. The blue blade shot forward and hummed lightly. After taking a few practice swings he held the saber in both hands and bent his legs in a defensive position.

"I am ready when you are."

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack smiled.

"Good to hear, my friend."

He ignited his own saber, the purple blade extending to 2 meters in length. The hum of the two the sabers filled the air.

Sarr was already in his defensive position, Kack took his own defensive position, allowing Sarr to make the first move.

"Let's do this."

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor uprighted his body and dropped his saber a little. Sarr ran forward with the help of the Force to boost his quickness. He spun around with his saber swinging horizontally across his body with a powerful slash aimed at Kack's chest.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack leaned back as that Sarr's attack missed. When the Kel Dor tried to come down on Kack's chest with a chopping action he rolled to the side and swept his leg behind Sarr's and knocked him onto the Kel Dor's back.

Sarr quickly bounded to his own feet. When he got up Kack was nowhere to be seen.

"Aaaaaaaagghhh!!" Kack screamed as he bolted down from above landing a kick on Sarr's chest as the younger padawan spun around. The Force aided in every one of Kack's movements. It made him jump higher, move faster, and kick harder.

Kack rebounded off of Sarr's chest and onto his own two feet. He stood ready for his opponents attack.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor stumbled backwards with his free hand across his chest. It seemed he was correct in assuming Kack's skills have grown. Nevertheless, Sarr would put up one tough fight for Kack.

Sarr charged in with a long series of hacks and slashes. Left, right, left, right, down, up it continued. Reaching his leg up he aimed at kick at Kack's mid-section hoping to catch him off guard after his long series of attacks.

[Kack Mebuff]

The Kel Dor padawan hacked furiously at the human Jedi. Kack moved quickly to block each attack, using the Force to calculate each of Sarr's moves, but was caught off guard when Koon kicked him in the midsection. Sarr knocked the wind out of Kack with his kick to Kack's stomach. The Jedi fell backwards and attempted to catch his breath.

Sarr attacked again, this time Kack was prepared. The Kel Dor charged, but Kack leapt high in the air and over Koon's head. Kack landed behind Sarr and kicked out the younger padawan's knees dropping him to the ground on his face.

Kack spun around and lifted Sarr into the air using the Force. The younger padawan scrambled in the air trying to grasp onto something, anything. Kack held the Kel Dor up for a moment, then dropped him back flat on his stomach.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor made a widespread with his hands on the floor and pushing hard, he sprang back to his feet quickly. Igniting his saber he held it out in front of him in a defensive position. He wanted to see what Kack could do now on the offense. Patiently he waited for the Padawan to make his attack.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack flipped over Sarr's head saber jabbing towards the Kel Dor. Sarr blocked each attack as Kack flew over his head.

As Kack landed Sarr swung for Kack's head, the Jedi ducked and kicked Sarr in the stomach.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor doubled over with one hand holding his stomache. That had been a powerful kick. Standing up to his full height, he breathed out slowly carching his breathe. Then, holding his lightsaber in front of him he stood in an attack positioin. Running at Kack again, Sarr did a series of powerful over head slashes trying to weaken Kack. The padawan blocked each blow with skill. Suddenly, whipping around quickly Sarr aimed a round house kick at Kack's head.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack wasn't quite fast enough to block the roundhouse. He flipped through the air, but using the Force was capable of catching himself and landed on his feet.

Kack charged Sarr the Force speeding his attack and tackled the Kel Dor.

Kack jumped up from the ground and lifted Sarr off the ground with the Force once again. This time Kack send his opponent sailing through the air throwing him several meters across the room.

[Sarr Koon]

As the Kel Dor flew through the air, he flipped around backwards. His feet hit the ground but they slipped out and he had to catch himsef with his hands. Getting quickly to his feet, Sarr stood up. Brilliant move on Kack's part. He would left Kack have anothe turn offense. Sarr held his saber across his body ready for the attack.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack charged Sarr his lightsaber flashing furiously keeping the Kel Dor at bay. Up, down, left, right, a spin attack, Kack's opponent blocked each.

Kack slashed across at Sarr but the padawan was quick to block the saber attack. The two were gridlocked. Kack leaned forward and suddenly head-butted Sarr.

The Kel Dor stumbled backwards clutching his skull. Kack quickly too advantage of the situation and leapt into the air and landed a quick jump kick on Sarr's chest.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor landed hard on his back and the air flew out from his lungs. Getting slowly to his feet he nodded his head at Kack in approval to his attack.

"Very good."

Igniting his saber, Sarr ran towards Kack. He feigned a slash across Kack's body and then dropped down and attempted to slide his feet out from under him.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack immediately knew that the saber attack wasn't a threat and didn't even flinch. When Sarr tried to knock Kack's feet out he jumped in the air. Kack landed in front of Sarr and jawed him hard.

The Kel Dor fell backwards. Before Sarr could fall over Kack hooked under his arm and flipped him over Kack's shoulder.

[Sarr Koon]

Using the momentum in his favor, Sarr was able to land on his feet after the flip by Kack. The Kel Dor continued to go forward after landing and stuck his foot out backwards towards Kack. Feeling his foot hit something he brought it down and spun around quickly with his lightsaber in a slash at Kack.

OOC: If you don't find the first part of this believeable you can ignore it. Just thought it was cool.

[Kack Mebuff]

The kick caught Kack in his bad knee, using the Force he blocked out the pain. Suddenly Kack could sense the saber blade headed in his direction.

He hit the floor. Kack's saber blared to life and he flew at Sarr. The two dueled. Parry, parry, thrust, block. Left, right, left, up, up, down. Kack faked an overhead attack and Sarr went to block. Kack spun around and tapped the Kel Dor's upper arm with the lightsaber leaving a cut. It cauterized immediately.

Sar dropped to ground in pain. Kack temporarily stopped the spar. He walked over to the Kel Dor.

"Here let me see."

Kack gently placed his hand on the wound. Sarr winced in pain at Kack's touch, but relaxed. The more experienced padawan closed his eyes and concentrated on the Force. He could feel the power of the Force flowing through his entire body and slowly, but surely the wound closed. The cloth around the wound was still ripped but the wound was healed.

"A little trick Master Dasquian taught me."

Kack smiled.

[Sarr Koon]

OOC: A Kel Dor's facial expressions are all but impossible to read. You could only tell if he moved his body in such a manner.

The Kel Dor stood up and faced Kack.

"Thank you."

Sarr fingered the rip in his clothing.

"Now I need a new robe."

He chuckled softly.

[Kack Mebuff]

OOC: Kack could tell anyway, he uses the Force to sense everything ... Kack is blind and uses the Force to tell him everything.

Kack examined the sliced robe with his fingers.

"Perhaps now would be a good time to learn how to sew."

[Sarr Koon]

OOC: Never knew he was blind. Makes sense.

"Perhaps. But I'll worry about that later. Care to finish our spar."

The Kel Dor grinned under his mask.

[Kack Mebuff]

"Sure, why not."

Kack withdrew his lightsaber once again and took a defensive position.

[Sarr Koon]

Drawing in a deep breathe through his mask Sarr once again charged at Kack. Hacking and slashing once again in a barrage of attacks. Kack was able to calculate each one and block it with skill. Stopping his assailment, Sarr lept into the air and over Kack. Landing with his back facing Kack he stuck his elbow out hard at his back.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack could sense the elbow coming so he moved forward enough to avoid it. He then jumped off one of the walls back in front of Sarr, awaiting the Kel Dor's next attack.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor ignited his lightsaber and the blue blade sprang forth. Running up to Kack, he slashed down with a diagonally slash across his body. Kack brought his saber up and the two blades connected and held sizzling. Sarr used his strength to bring Kack's blade arond and hopefully loose his grip.

[Kack Mebuff]

The saber sailed through the air. Kack back-flipped away from Sarr. He dashed after his lightsaber. Kack reached out, and using the Force, called the weapon to his hand.

Sarr was now running towards Kack. The elder padawan kicked high at Sarr's hand and sent the Kel Dor's lightsaber through the air.

Kack smirked at Sarr, "Had to return the favor."

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor jumped into the air and did a few back flips. He landed just in time to reach up his hand and grab his saber as it was falling. Letting the blade the blade come out again he ran again at Kack. Spinning in a complete circle he brought his saber low at Kack's legs. The padawan jumped and the saber whoosed harmlessly beneath. Rising up Sarr brought up an uppercut at Kack's chin.

[Kack Mebuff]

The upper cut caught Kack square in the jaw. The Jedi flipped on contact but, using the Force, managed to land on his feet.

As Kack landed he charged at Sarr. The elder Jedi slashed and hacked in every which way. The Kel Dor stuggled to keep up. Kack quickly got the best of the lesser experienced of the padawans.

Suddenly, while Sarr was focusing on one of Kack's saber attacks, the latter punched the Kel Dor dead in the face, causing him to drop his lightsaber and stumble backwards.

Kack continued to press on. Kicks, punches, elbows, and knees flailing in every direction, Sarr couldn't concentrate enough to block all of the blows. Occasionally he'd block one or two by accident, but most of the attacks connected as planned. Kack appeared to move with the speed of light, the Force aided in every movement he made. After a quick combo of punches and kicks Kack landed a roundhouse on Sarr's head and the Kel Dor soared through the air, hit a wall, then slid to the floor.

[Sarr Koon]

The dazed Kel Dor got clumsily back to his feet. He stumbled forward but caught himself. Feeling his mask, he made sure it was still secure. Sarr shook his head trying to clear his foggy mind. Kack's attack had put a huge dent into his stamina and endurance. Not to mention what little confidence he had of his skills.

Using the Force the Kel Dor summoned his saber back to his hands. This wasn't over just yet. Clearing his mind he focused on his objective. Sarr had had a little training with Zeke who had developed his Force Speed skill. Thinking that now was the best time as any, the Kel Dor would use. He ran swiftly across the room and covered the distance to Kack in almost no time at all. Then he unleashed a fury of lightsaber attacks and attacks with his legs.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack blocked the saber attacks but found escaping Sarr's foot attacks more difficult. One of them caught Kack's bad knee and he dropped to the floor.

Sarr tried to hack down on Kack repeatedly but the elder Jedi rolled away from the attacks. As the Kel Dor raised his saber up once again Kack kicked him in the stomach then in the face knocking Sarr on his back and allowing Kack to return to his feet.

[Sarr Koon]

OOC: You can go on the offensive.

[Kack Mebuff]

As Kack rose to his feet Sarr Koon started rising as well. Using the Force the elder Jedi had lifted the Kel Dor off his feet and into the air.

Suspending him there, Kack looked up. Then suddenly, the padawan ran away from Sarr. The Kel Dor seemed puzzled by his opponents reaction.

Kack stood twenty feet away from Sarr, smirked, then dashed forward. The more experienced padawan leapt into the air and landed a powerful flying dragon kick onto the Kel Dor's chest, sending him sailing through the air once again.

[Sarr Koon]

Wincing as he got up Sarr felt pain coursing through his body in high amounts. The Kel Dor wasn't out of it yet... Using the Force he eased the pain throughouts his aching body and immediatly felt better. Now that Sarr was a little refreshed, he would have another go at Kack.

Twirling his saber around in his hand he began to charge at the older padawan. Bringing his saber in a last twirl he came down wit a powerful overhead slash. Kack brought his saber up and the two blades hit each other. Looking Kack square in the eye, the Kel Dor went low this time with an upward slash. The blades met once again.

Giving a hard push up on his saber, Kack's hands and saber flew over his head. Jumping in the air and rotating he planted his boot directly in the center of Kack's stomache, sending him through the air this time.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack landed with a hard thud. But he immediately bounded to his feet and charged at Sarr. Their lightsabers clashed furiously.

Purple and blue flashed all around the room. Neither was gaining any advantage. Kack stepped back to dodge one of Sarr's attacks when he noticed an opening. So using the Force he pushed Sarr away.

The Kel Dor was now off balance and Kack used the opportunity to perform a leg sweep and knocked Sarr's feet out from underneath him.

[Sarr Koon]

Sarr's back hit the ground and he saw Kack's boot coming down towards him. Rolling away he stood up quickly and heard the thud of a heavy boot impacting against the ground.

Getting into a defensive position he waited for another attack from Kack.

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack looked directly at Sarr. Both stood in silence. Kack focused hard on the Force ... letting it flow throughout his entire body ... he could feel the Force pentrate his very being.

Suddenly he dashed forward with lighting speed and chopped at Sarr's head. Kack stopped only centimeters from the base of the Kel Dor's neck.

"You're dead." Kack smirked and stepped back.

[Sarr Koon]

The Kel Dor bowed in respect to the more experience Padawan commendng him. If this fight had been for real, Sarr would indeed be dead.

"Very good, Kack. It is as you say, I would be dead."

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack smiled warmly at the padawan.

"You fought very well, Sarr. I am most impressed. You pulled quite a few moves there that threw me off. Nice job. Meet me for a drink at Yog's sometime."

Kack shook the Kel Dor's clawed hand. He wrapped his dark brown cloak around himself and exited the sparring chamber.
