anyone else see punch drunk love

wow that was one of the most horrible movies i have seen in a long time

I liked it sort of. Paul Thomas Anderson is one of my favorite directors, while Adam Sandler is my least favorite actor. I thought Sandler did okay, but still don't understand why Anderson put him in this movie. Punch Drunk Love really lacks the richness of characters that made Boogie Nights and Magnolia so great. The scenes with Sandler interacting with his sisters were interesting, but the romance angle didn't work very well for me. Then again romance never works for me...
