Band of Brothers 6 DVD Box Set

Anybody got this one yet? I'm waiting on my birthday and/or Christmas for it....and I can't wait much longer. Probably the best story put on any screen, anywhere.

Best TV series I've ever seen.

well I've not seen the DVD yet...but I've viewed the series in its entirety. I'd give it a 99, simply because there's probably a point out there that can be given to make a movie perfect, and I just can't think of it at the moment. The only other movie that really competes with it on my list is Rudy.

I saw bits and pieces of it when it was on HBO. I thought it was alright but I never really got caught up in it. I thought the Tom Hanks From the Earth to the Moon miniseries was better.

Some bits of it were amazing, but some episodes were really poor, IMO. In a non-comedy TV ranking, itd be below 24 and Alias. 3rd is good though :)


I'll get it for Christmas Im hoping.

I've only seen a few and the ones I saw I liked, I would like to see the rest at some point but I can't see spending a ton on the DVD's just yet, maybe a bit down the road when they're on sale.
