Maia stepped into the council chamber. Her heart happy at the thought of Dios getting a well deserved promotion. He had waited a long time and had served the light well. He had over come the darkness that had tried to steal his soul and won.

Bowing on one knee Maia spoke. "I have come before you to ask that you raise my Padawan Dios to the rank of Knight. He has proven time and again his love of the lightside and has been loyal to the Jedi. He has fought back the darkness and won." Maia went quiet and awaited their decision.

"Are you sure of this? His fall from the Light was quite traumatizing Tharrinn. Can you truly say this with all the conviction in your heart that Dios is ready to be a Knight of the Order?"

Bowing, Maia began to explain about Dios. "I know he has been through a great deal and when Fiend took him over, I to feared for him. But he over came Fiend and stayed on the side of the light. He did battle with the darkside and won. Many have done this ad failed. I do believe he is ready and has learned from his past experiences. We have talked extensively about controlling his need to seek revenge and he understands now that it is not the way of the Jedi to do so."

It is true he may have falen before, but after the accounts Knight Tharrinn has given, it would seem to me he has repented of his fall from the Light, and proven himself capable and worthy of being recognized as a Knight here at the Order.

Sometimes a second chance is all one needs to find the true path.

Morgan looked twoard his blue skin comrade, somewhat confused. He quickly shrugged it off, and continued his thoughts on the situation. After all, he had once been a borderline victim Dark Side... but it was very different.

:: I sat back at the door, it was about me but I had no real point to say anything untill spoken to. If they had questions, they could ask, I'd be more than willing to. And I knew why Ryla abstained, I guess it was understandable. But I shook my head and waited to see what would happen. Though, my gratefulness was immeasurable to the council's choice to understand my returning to the light and my fight with Fiend.::

Her eyes narrowed at the Knight hopeful, looking directly at him. Navaria had sensed his presence.

"Of course. But does that second chance deserve a promotion? That is a lot to be asking but ... I tend to favor that he has indeed proven himself more so then the doubts in my mind. I vote for yes."

::Azhure said nothing but went up to Dios and squeezed his shoulder in support, she as still a padawan and in the heirarchy was not appropriate to speak her voice. Walking towards the door she had other business but she felt Dios Kane deserved this chance.::

:: I smiled to Azhure and then looked up to the council as they spoke. I wanted to let loose with a yell. But I refrained as I stepped up and pulled Maia to me. I kissed her on the cheek and then let loose a yell. I regained myself and then bowed before the council and turned on my heel. I wanted a padawan now, to train one... next best thing then remembering what it was like to be one.::
