I mentioned just before we moved to this new host that with the new service we would get the ability to have 5 sub-domains as a part of our hosting service. With only 5 to choose from I could not include all the groups so I based the ones I did pick on the contributions they made to the forums and their longevity here at SWFans.Net Forums.
The five new URLs that will lead straight to a group forum here are as follows:
http://gjo.sw-fans.net
http://tbh.sw-fans.net
http://tso.sw-fans.net
http://sff.sw-fans.net
http://tge.sw-fans.net
I intend to look into some of the third party subdomain provisionary services and see if I can get some more free ones working for the other groups too. :)
The way subdomains work would not allow me to link them directly to the forums because of the php bits in the subforum URLs, (Ampersands, equal signs, and question marks) so these subdomains actually link to small and fast html redirect files that push your browser to the correct URL. It was the best I could do to make them work.
