Rank symbols?

I had planned to use one of these as my own symbol to replace my moon gif, but lost where these were for a time, now got them again so wondering if some might be good for our ranks symbols?

I got to take a look at these before Jed's posted so here are my thoughts.

The Queen Mother

This looks to me similar to the all seeing eye wrapped in a ying yang symbol. Brings the conitation of wisdome and knowledge, but also balance.

Master

To me this shows strength and power, something that a Vampyre Master would most certainly have.

Lord/Lordess

No real reason, just think it looks better than the other remaining ones.

I was thinking maybe flipping this upside down. Then it would almost look like a setting sun. Thus symbolizing someone who has not yet been turned and can still walk in the light, but is moving towards the darkness.

Seriously, those would be excellent choices. Well, we'd have to resize them a bit - maybe also instead of that silver grey, I could give them the same kind of light gold tarnish that the board features here have? MIght be a nice extra bit to it, I dunno....

Where would we have them? as Personal Pics, as part of our Custom titles, or as Icons? I think they'd do well as part of the Custom titles, actually - so we could still keep our personal pics and icons.

Stands and applauds damn good .. I love all of it killer symbols ,, Sothie is sitting rt here so to save space and time we both love it ... we love the silver but could we make the "Circle of Seven " there symbol goldish color like you said Mara it would be way cool. oh BTW guys notice this, how cool is this look at the mothers symbol carefully it represents two caring hands embracing a circle, hence "Circle of Seven" O.o is that cool or what! we have noticed that there is no symbol 4 the seven so lets think of one that would be cool for us... and lets keep the mothers silver that way she considers herself a whole as a family and it will show she thinks of all of us...

Mara your idea on the icons on the icons going into the custom title area is wonderful. That way we can keep our side pic, have our little personal saying, also as an icon when we go to the other boards will show who we r affiliated with. Roon sounds like we r all in agreement on so is that considered a yes vote lol.

Jimmi and I found what think to be a perfect symbol for the "Circle of Seven"...Same site that Jedah and Cain found....We mirrored the image which in turn made a (7) symbol...I have it saved, so remind me and I'll show it to you all then ok...It look's really cool and what to know what you all think ok... :)

The rising sun symbol we rotated it to look as if it was setting like Kain suggested and we turned it red showing importance and new found power as a child of the Shrine. This symbol should only be given to a fully accepted "Vampyre" in the fold upon "turning" that specific character. Hence the waiting period time stated in the purposed rules we discussed. Red would also represent "Blood"...Hehe..

I wanted to show you a couple of pics I thought were cool. I'll upload them and post them up soon. :) Oh, and if it goes in the custom title, that means it'll only be there when we're on this board right? Don't we want it shown when we're at other boards too?

I forgot how easily that places bandwidth gets used up, dont know when it'll be before they are back either. could be days, weeks or a month~_~

As for those symbols....maybe we could put them in our sigs?

Don't worry about them - I have to work on it and then upload them onto another site anyway.

And yeah - for outside the Shrine, anyone who wishes to use the rank symbols in their sig could use it. it's a good place to put it outside of the Shrine board - unless of course someone wishes to use it as their personal pic.


As long as it's not an icon... :p
