OOC: First off, smashing board. Secondly, smashing board. And thirdly Thanx Alana!

IC: Twighlight had already begun to fall on the city of Darntwineen. And the office workers were lready taking their turbo tubes back home to their families. But in the still bustling space port of Darntronee an unfamiliar ship touched down on docking pad seven. From the unfamiliar ship appeared an unfamiliar man. Atleast unfamiliar to this part of Corellia. For the Captain of the Persistance was already renowned for his work at the Capital.

Wearing worn pants and a shabby leather jacket the Insurance Investigator passed as any of the ruffians that loitered the bars and cafes that made this port famous. But the unshaven face of Nathan Vergis had used this to his advantage before, and would again. Never let them see you comming, was the first thing that he had been tought by his father. Fair enough his father had been a bounty hunter, but the principle was the same. If you gave your target half a chance to run, or get away with it, chances were that they would. But Vergis hadn't let anyone get away from him. There hadn't been one insurance scam that he hadn't sniffed out, not one scum bag that hadn't been caught for ripping off the Corellian Government.

Now you be thinking, why would an Insurance investigator from the Capital be all the way down in Darntwineen? The answer is rather simple at the end of the day. For Darntwineen hosts the largest Artisan collection this side of the Core Worlds. And when a somewhat priceless statuete goes missing, the museum looks to collect on the Insurance, which would more than less cuase a heart attack with the director of Corellia's Treasury, so Corsec sent its best. Nathan Vergis, to find out what exactly has happened to the statuet.

He lit death stick at the entrance to the street and watched the patrons mill about their business, many of which retiring home for the evening. Luckily there was only a small que for the taxi, and within a few minutes he was on his way to the Corellian security builing of Darntwineen.

OOC: I'm not sure if this is where I should have posted, if not Im sorry, but I'm pretty sure that it is where Im supposed to. Do I need a bio, it just said to post in character?

Alana wove her lithe form in and out of the people. She had just fed and was now looking for a place to relax. Pausing by the taverns door she turned as a taxi pulled up and let its passenger out. Alana's eyes rested on the alluring man. He was sure of himself, it told in the way he moved, the way his eyes never left what he was doing at that particular moment.

Moving up behind him she stopped. Reaching up she ran her fingers softly over his shoulder. Her voice low and musical. "Pardon me, I was wondering if you could help me. "Alana smiled as he turned to face her. Her startling green eyes locked onto his. Alana entered his mind. A suggestion placed simply to make him want to help her. He had a strong mind, very set in his ways but he had one downfall, he would help a lady in distress every time.

"My name is Alana and I was wondering if you could accompany me to my ship. I seem to have people following me due to a great deal of money I'm owed and I can see your a gentleman." She whispered letting tears form in her eye's. In the gathering darkness he could not see they were tinged with blood...

Nathan would have walked straight passed her on any other day, perhaps he should have today. But there had been something in her voice, something in the way she phrased the question. At first he thought perhaps she was a Jedi, using some Jedi mind trick, but she didn't suit the stereotype, and there was still something more entiscing about her. Something genuine...

"How far is you ship? I have a meeting in half an hour." He said trying to disuade her even while he knew that he had commited hismelf to helping her.

"Just through here," she pointed through the arcade toward a similar docking pad that he had parked,

He bit his lower lip, and thought for a second, he could do both things in time. There wouldn't be a problem. But he had this nagging feeling that he was doing this all out of character.

"Ok, not a problem, I'll be glad to help a ladt in distress." He said smiling and taking her feminine hand in his, "Shall we?" and he began escorting the femme fatal to her ship.

Alana moved up beside him as he walked slipping her arm in his and leaning into him. She began to use what she had learned from her Shrine brother Lord Soth. She had mastered the manipulations of the mind, of dreams. She began to put visions of herself in the mans arms, of them kissing. He glanced down at her his eyes widened. Smiling up at him innocently she still played the damsel in distress.

"I can't thank you enough for helping me. Is there anything I can do to repay this kindness." The tone of her voice changed slightly taking on a more throaty seductive sound. As they moved through the crowd toward her ship the Sith Vampyre chattered on to him as she placed suggestive thoughts into his mind.

He had a very strong mind and he kept trying to push it away, thoughts of his business filled his head. A small growl of frustration slipped from her lips.

"As they reached her ship she clutched his hand. "Would you do one more thing for me. I would be very grateful. Can you please check my ship to make sure no one is in it." She cocked her head and stared up into his eye's. Alana shuddered slightly in fear to give him the impression that she was still scared. She played her part well...

OOC: I could have put a spanner in the works and said he was gay... but na.

IC: Never had Nathan been tempted by women, he had stuck to his job, had found people untrustworthy and often more trouble than they were actually worth. Which was probably the reason why he was so good at his job. It never made him any friends.

But this woman was more attractive, more alluring than anything he had ever encountered before in his life. Not even all the Fish on Mon Salmari could have pried him away from her*.

""I can't thank you enough for helping me. Is there anything I can do to repay this kindness." She asked in a manner which brought erotic pictures to the foreground of his mind.

"Don't mention it." He said slightly under his breath, finding it more and more difficult to escape her enchantment.

"Would you do one more thing for me. I would be very grateful. Can you please check my ship to make sure no one is in it." She said tilted her head and staring into his eyes which had somehow been embewed with a wanting light.

He grinned as he pulled the ten inch vibro-blade from a stealth sheath under his leather jacket, "Not to worry. Who are you expecting?" But he uncharacteristicly waited for no answer and turned to go up the ramp, taking an agressive lead he began walking toward his destiny.

And his guide to that destiny ironically followed his steps behind.

Alana watched in amusement as Nathan moved into her ship. So sure of himself, his mind set on one thing checking her ship. Moving slowly up behind him she grinned. Her teeth extending fully. She wanted to take him now, to drink from him but something inside of her told Alana that he would be a wonderful child of the damned. Turning him would be much more pleasurable than just ending his life.

Alana grabbed Nathan around his neck. Her strength was formidable. She had the strength of ten men but she still did not want to go up against him in a fight. Not that she was to worried about winning. With Sith magic and vampyre speed she could best a mere mortal. She just didn't want to fight him instead she wanted to seduce him. But to do that she needed him at the Shrine.

When he had passed out she tied him into the copilots chair and took any weapons he had on him. Quiet an arsenal. "She was well on her way to the Shrine when he woke and looked over at her...

He had turned toward the sound too late to defend against the attack, the last hing he could remember was a feeling of warm security before hitting the cold metallic flooring of the ships deck.

Strange dreams of hunger and erotica filled his subconcsious over the following hours. Strange and disturbing dreams of people long forgotten, or believed dead, suffering. Loss. Submission, and amongst all this anguish there she was... Iluring as she had been as she had called him from his taxi... Though exotic and altogether sultry the combination of the suffering only seem to intensify the urge... the primal urge to mate. Slowly her hand traced the outline of his jaw, touching his lips ever so slightly moving in for a kiss... his eyes snapped open as a horrid turn became the fantasy, fangs? he thought to himself as he struggled to win over against the sleep.

The blurred image of a cockpit became clearer , and the familiar sight of swirling lights notified him that he was in hyperspace, but that was not where he as supposed to be. Sitting at the ships controls sat the voluptious vixon ;) that had lured him to this perquiliar predicament. He coughed alerting her attention unintentionaly, but then said, "Who are you? Why am I here?" He struggled angainst the binders.

Alana sat back in her chair relaxed her eyes drifting from the controls to the sleeping man that she now held captive. A languid smile graced her lips.

She had been taken with him when she had first laid eye's on him and as she scanned his face, she was even more aware as to why. He was a truly handsome man.

Turning back to her controls she made some last minute adjustment to them. She did not want to be detected when she arrived back at the Shrine right away.

Glancing over she saw that he was beginning to wake up. Swiveling her chair to face him she grinned. "Welcome back sleeping beauty. To answer your questions. I am Alana Stormcloud and we are on our way to my home." As to why well you shall see in due time."

Reaching out she gently touched his chin, running her fingers across the length of his face. "What would you say if I offered you life eternal. Power beyond anything you could ever know as a.... How can I put this delicately.... Well, as a mere human?" She asked her eyebrows raised in question. She could see the confusion on his face. Not many knew about the children of the damned. But one was going to find out very soon...

"What would you say if I offered you life eternal. Power beyond anything you could ever know as a.... How can I put this delicately.... Well, as a mere human?" She said, slow enough for him to understand the words but not the meaning behind them. Life eternal? power beyond power? Why? Did this have anything to do with the missing statue? Alana? Stormcloud?

"Nathan Vergis."

"And so you speak..."

"Lady you've got one hell of a strange way of picking up dates." He jested nervously trying to make himself a little more comfortable in the situation....

Alana chuckled softly as she watched him mull what she had said over. She had said the same words to Kain before she had turned him. He had chosen wisely.

"Nathan, a pleasure to meet you. I am sorry for this small inconvenience but once we arrive to my home you will see why it is necessary." She said in low tones her eyes boring into his. There was so much he would learn this night and many nights to come. There was a quality about him that drew her. He would be a wonderful addition to the family.

Turning back to the controls she maneuvered into the small docking bay that was separate from the much larger one. Shutting down she stood up and leaned over Nathan. Her face inches from his."Welcome to the Shrine of the Damned Nathan Vergis." Pulling him to his feet, his hands still secured she led him from the ship. What greeted him was spectacular view, The Shrine itself glistened in the purple moonlight. Daylight only touched this side of the planet once in a while. The plant life that surrounded the huge structure was not something seen by many.

Alana looked up toward the upper towers her eyes narrowed. A face had appeared momentarily at a window. She knew that her arrival would not go unnoticed for long. She was not surprised to feel the presence of the Queen Mother Ashiva. Alana turned and flashed Nathan a grin before pulling him toward the Shrine. She had not realized or seen the look of surprise on his face at the sight of her elongated teeth. Her eyes glowed with an unholy light and her beauty was unmatched in that moment by no other...

Nathan was a reasonable man, shrewd, perhaps stuborn to a point, but he often found himself remarkably restrained in many of the situations that he had been in during his profession. This was no different. At first he was worried that the sense of urgency and anxiety did not accompany him on his trip through hyperspace to his unknown destination. But as he gazed upon the unholy malevonance of the tall spiraling towers he was glad of the sence of serentiy had befallen him.

He was unsure to whether this Alana had drugged him, or was using some kind of jedi mind trick on him, but he was glad of it none the less. But he still had many questions that needed answering, but with the anxiety the urgency to have these questions answered was no longer there, instead he satisfied his curiostiy by following the contours of his 'femme de fatale's' curves. His admiration suddenly plumeted, and his pseudo paradise crumbled as his dark blue eyes focused on the canine length teeth that 'miss' Stormcloud kept.

When she noticed his expression he realised taht he had not caught her last spoken words, "Sorry Shrine of the what?" He tried to cover...

Soft laughter bubbled from Alana's throat. She had met many men who had pleaded for there lives once they had caught sight of what she was. Many had fought and struggled as she drained the life from them. But this one, this Nathan, was different. He did not fight, no look of horror clouded his features, and no words of pleading fell from his finely shaped lips..... "Yet." She thought coolly.

"The Shrine of the Damned, Nathan, It is my home, my world. Perhaps it will become yours." Moving closer she looked up into his eyes, he did not tremble when she touched his face. His eyes bored back into hers. She smiled her lips curling back from her still elongated eye teeth. Her eyes took on an evil glow. Still his gaze did not waver, just a slight raising of his eyebrows was apparent. She wished she knew just what he was thinking at that very moment.

"Do you not fear me Nathan? Am I abhorrent to you?" She whispered into his mind. "I am forever Nathan, as can you be if you make the right choice." She trailed off still close to him....

Did he fear her? Yes would be the first thing that would come to mind, and yet some how he also found himself drawn towards her, like there was a sense of security of being in her presence. But somehow he knew that her beauty was somehow going to be evenly matched by her ferocity if needed.

An offer? "What are you suggesting? That I have a choice?" He strained against his restraints to make a point. "Sorry sweets, last time I checked I was out of options." He had always possessed the ability to use his wit in uncomforatble positions, and had regularly regretted having that particular ability. Just like he did on this occasion.

Alana grinned up into Nathan's face. She grabbed his hands and pulled him close to her. "There will be no harm to you this night Nathan, as of now you are my guest. Though I wouldn't recommend wandering the Shrine or trying to leave."

Pulling his hands up she released him and stepped back. Alana wondered what he would do. If he ran he would not get very far. "Stay Nathan let me offer you eternity. I will answer any questions you may have. This and more can be yours if you stay." Alana said as she gestured to the Shrine.

Nathan rubbed his wrists with each hand in turn, freed from the binders and given a choice. But not one taken lightly, the offer was plain. And even though every cell in his body ached for escape, there was the urgency, the curiosity, and the lust that held him steadfast.

He strained his neck and eyes trying to see the top of the towers, a truly magnificant and artistic expression of malevolance. When she gestured towawrd the shrine he took steps toward it, and found it eerily easy to walk in the direction of this strange and illuding 'erternity' that she spoke of.

"What ist his place? Who, and what are you?" He found himself asking against all better judgement, "Why me?"

Alana moved closer to Nathan a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Slipping her arm into his she walked towered her home with him. Thinking of how to answer him she stayed quiet for a few steps.

"Hmmmm lets see. This place has been here forever as far as I know. As for me, I have already told you my name. It is Alana Stormcloud and what I am is eternity itself. I am Vampyre, have you head of my race?" She asked coyly, glancing up into his face. She left out a few very important things. He would find those out soon enough once inside the Shrine of the Damned.

Few people view life in an instant, the rest have only just imagained that they know what life is. But all life truly is, is a series of instants, that seemingly last forever, and can so from a certain point of view. That is the way that Nathan Vergis percieved this moment in time.

With the incredibly intoxicating lady on his arm he could not help but envision himself with the voluptious vixon in a more romantic situation, but his instinct didn't keep that vision for long, he could not let her manipulate him.

"Only in myths." He answered her question, though at the time of speaking he could not really remember if she had asked anything at all.

Alana looked up into the night sky a small smile still played at her lips. She thought of her first meeting with the Death Knight Soth and how she to had thought the Vampyre tales as myths. She had thought that until she had met the one who turned her.

Master Saurron, the one who had embraced her and given her the gift. She remembered how sweet his blood was on her lips, even now her tongue darted out as if to taste it. Alana sent the visions of her turning to Nathan. She wanted him to see the power, the ecstasy it had brought.

"We are not myths Nathan, we are the darkness beyond the darkside. There is so much to see in the night. More than just shadows that pass. To be what I am is to see what hides in the shadows. To even be what hides there. Look about you and tell me what you see in this inky blackness. Nothing, human eyes are so very blind. But to a vampyre, what we see is beyond description. The life that boils around us is astonishing. To you the night breeze is only that a wind to soothe a heated brow, to us it is the scent of prey the smell of life and death. It is the call to hunt. As a vampyre there are no wants other than pleasure. There are no worries. All you want will rest at your finger tips. Can you tell me Nathan that this, what I am does not entice you." She said motioning to herself. Her words were as always double edged...

"You seem to offer me the universe, and yet all you ask of me is my life?" His words were also double edged, though he was becoming incredibly tempted by her offers.
