Nathan Vergis

The anti-chamber was as big as his own house back on Corellia, yet its cold walls held little invitation except for the candle lit symbols he would not have known that the tall oaken door in front of him lead to the great Library of the damned.

Vergis had dropped his mortal name of Nathan within hours of his transformation into the abomination that he now was. Ignorant of death, yet incredibly aware that he was not alive. Vergis raised his gloved hand pushed gently on the iron hinged slab of Oak. With a subtle creak the double doors opened wide revealing an immense hall filled with tall slender wooden shelves containing thousands if not millions of books.

Vergis stepped inside trying not to be overcome by the intensity of its sheer size and presence. He looked up the aisle to its center of the circular room, where the Librarian Chair sat. A Large hovering gargoylest feature that was able to move by thought through the Librarian's mind alone.

He looked up, and marveled at the ceiling, an inky black pond that rippled from time to time. Balls of illumination floated on its surface like lilies, moving with the ripples. He grinned his now fanged expression as he lowered his gaze, surprisingly finding the Librarians chair hovering in front of him. He quickly sat in his seat.

The knowledge of the Sith was now his to survey.

Mistress Tatiana

"Amazing isn't it?" Tatiana's soothing voice broke the silence in the room as she approached the table Nathan sat behind. "The knowledge one acquires upon receiving "the gift" is endless. Everything your eyes lay upon appears knew and vibrant." She ran her fingers delicately across the ornate table remembering her first impression of her surroundings after Soth had bestowed upon her "the gift".

The walls of the room were lined with books both large and small. Some were simple in make with plain paper and ink, while others were far more elaborate with covers made of solid gold and the words within having been written in similar fine metals. Tatiana opened her arms in reference to the ancient wonders about them. "Everything you see in this room is centuries upon centuries old. The words contained in these books were written long ago in the ancient language of the vampyres." She walked towards the wall to her left, and pulled out a large book whose cover was decorated with Roonestones. She continued to speak as she walked towards
Vergis. "The information held within them has been kept secret by our kind thus making them a valuable commodity to outsiders. Now more than ever do we need to guard our secrets." She paused in her words as she stood beside him. "We have many enemies, and it is our duty to protect what is ours." She placed the book she held in front of him. "The Book Of The Damned.... I suggest you start with this one."
