The sultry red head cursed out loud as the navigation systems spoke to her through a series of incoherant beeps and crackles. It would have been all well and good if she had been near a inhabited planet. Not some mud ball in the middle of the outer rim.

The craft nearly bounced off the atmosphere at its obscure angle, but managed not to burn up on the entry vector that she had made in the emergancy. Viewers from the ground could have witnessed a grand burning ball of flame pursued by thick black smoke that tailed away from the falling craft.

Shannon pulled up on the stick just before she hit the still surface of the lake, the disc like craft skipped across the lake like a pebble before sinking under rising steam. She raced to the roof hatch before the hull completely sank, and swam to the shore line.

Wet and enraged at her own stupidity she looked about the shore line, wondering where in the hell she was. She would wait until the ship fully sank, and then swim down to it and try and pull out some supplies. Who know what lived on this planet.

Shannon checked her blaster before sitting down against a tree. Watching the bubbles break the surface of the cooling lake. What a day to quit smoking...

OOC: Can I join up?

Vampyre Dalamar

Dalamar watched as the ship fell from the sky. Putting his weapon belt on he rushed out to see what was going on. Arriving at the scene he saw a woman trying to dry off. Smiling the dark lord spoke "Lost are we?"

Hovering a few feet behind Keeper Dalamar a massive dark war droid phased out of it's rippling shadow cloak and studied the female humanoid.

The ship had not sunk deep enough to adanden, and Shannon thankfully swam down to the wreck. Using the small pockets of air that had survived the sinking she swam between them all within her ship collecting materials that were not only water proof but would ensure her survival on this strange new world.

She returned the pebbled beach and changed from her sodden flight suit into her black skin tight combat suit. She holstered her blaster, and repelling gun. Tide her red hair back into a pony tail with a torn cloth from her flight suit. From her small carry-all she pulled out a hand held sensor which she used to begin mapping the surrounding terrain.

"Well my girl, I think we should head west. Seems to be the flattest of routes." She said outloud to herself, but something inside of her decided that it was the wrong way to proceed, and that north-east whould be the route to take. She holstered her sensor on her utility belt and picked up her bag before beginning her trek.

Dalmar felt the ground vibrate under the immense wieght of the second Gaurdian Templar joining it's sleeker darker brother. The Massive Ghostclaw hulked behind the Keeper and awaited his orders.

The unwlecoming path took Shannon through a dark woodland full of lush purple and red folage. If it were in better circumstances she would have even considered sitting down and relaxing in this strange alien world. She had crossed three streams, all of which according to her scanner lead to the lake that had consumed her space craft.

After five hours of covering increasingly hostile ground Shannon was almost cursing her 'inner' feeling to have come this way. Until her scanner started bleebing, announcing a large atructure just over the next rock formation. She took the readings down in her photographic memory before holstering the scanner one last time.

She pulled on the cuffs of her gloves before putting all her effort into reaching the structure, no matter what is was, or who was there, if anyone. Mayber there would be a transmitter...

Nathan Vergis
Oct 9th, 2002, 04:26:24 PM
Nathan watched this new red haired fascination with the intent of a predator. Though his mind was far from his body which sat wasting in the Librarians Bone Chair. She looked familiar and yet completely different from anything he had seen before, and yet something told him that their paths would meet, even though he knew from the blackened pitts of his heart that she would not become Vampyre.

He sent a message to the Gaurdians through his coersive powers, 'ensure her safe arrival at the shrines gates & alert the council to her presence'. This was a cause for celebration.

Confirmed. A voice devoid of life shifted through Nathan Vergis's mind.

Death Knight Soth
Oct 13th, 2002, 01:21:45 AM
As Nathan's vampyre mind spirited over the landscape of Roon to the outlander woman that approached, the Death Knight; Soth Nuevole thumbed through one of the many thousands of book's that lined the immense chamber room...

Soth's piercing blue eye's slowly glanced over the large leathery tome he had been reading at Nathan. He studying his brother in blood intently as his mind too went with Nathan's instantly to the wayward woman on the Roon flat's miles away from the Keep of the Damned.

The soundless call from Nathan, via the Dark-Side was then sent out as a prompt commanded to one of the battle tech warrior's that guarded the Shrine coven with a terrible vengeance. A priority intercept order that was taken very seriously whenever the full automated warrior's were summonsed into action...The Death Knight had seen first hand what a Shrine Guardian could do if resisted or attacked foolishly...Complete carnage!

The Death Knight slipped his long Vampyre finger's around a golden chalice that was just in reach of him, bring it to his ruby lip's as his gaze remained on Nathan.

"I sense her to my brother...I can only hope for her sake that the "Darkness Guardian" is gentle enough..." Soth paused for a moment as he placed the jeweled goblet down on a small inn table next to him.

"It would be most unfortunate,...At this hour of the night to send out a clean up crew if she chooses to resist." The Dark Master sat back in the comfortable plush chair and watched in amusement as Nathan's enchanted skeletal chair hovered gently over the highly polished floor of the Library.

Nathan gave a dry chuckle, "She will, though she might need a 'little persuasion', but she has a part to play in our 'lives'."

"What do you know that the council does not brother?" asked the deathknight,

"The books have told me many things since my arrival hear Brother. Told me a great many things. Including the arrival of... but that of course need to prooven first." Nathan trailed off, his eyes staring blankly at the the clouded horizon. "We need to gather the other five." Vergis seemed to be speaking to himself now, though Soth understood that he wanted to gather the Seven Council Members....

From the position on the rise she had hoped that the canopy covered a forrest floor like the one she had just traversed. To her dismay the rocks came to swamp water.

The Scanner indicated it to be safe to walk through though the stinking weed water came to chest level. She avoided the overhangin branches in fear of snakes and leaches that waited on the leaves for passing meals.

Luckily her combat suit was water tight, as well as many of its pouches. But the smell was enough for her to move as quickly as she could through the wretched area. Hoping that by nightfall she would arrive at the stucture.
