Death Knight Soth
May 2nd, 2002, 11:49:27 PM
Deep within the cold belly of the Shrine, Soth Nuevole sat in his Chamber's for long hour's watching a crimson candle burn in front of him. He fidgeted with his Sith dagger as he starred into the flame as if there within it laid the truth to his dilemma. His troubled thought's were on what would take place in the few week's ahead. Time had come full circle once again in his life as a Vampyre when further delay was out of the question. Fate, oh unmerciful fate, how it raised it's wicked head against him!... Sadly enough, it was now inevitable. A life hung in the balance, tossed to and fro like a mariner at sea against the perfect storm. If the journey was not well thought out, it would be one that could cost him his very existence. Sending Soth back to the pit of the abyss were Saurron his Master had summoned him from..The Death Knight was now forced to confront his own past, one that would lead him back to were it all started...

Death Knight Soth for some time now could see and sense the retched curse that was over taking the Angel, Evangeleen Starbreeze. How it was taking it's terrible toll on her, a griping deception she now had given into. The evil book of Cerrosh was now consuming her angelic mind. Yes, Evangeleen had been successful in defeating her long past foe, the arch fiend Valdemar Desmond, however it was at terrible price. One that would eventually lead her right to the heart of evil. Unfortunately to the same collective mind frame that doomed the male nephrum Valdemar so long ago.

In a desperate attempt to dispatch Valdemar, Evangeleen had opened the sacred book of Cerrosh, an ancient and wicked tome that was bound by the most powerful of Sith magic. In turn, the unmanageable force's within the book were reaping the high penalty for doing so. The beautiful Iego Angel was now slowly going insane! All the sign's were evident in the madding Angel, fit's of rage and questionable action's on Evangeleen part brought the matter to close to home for Soth. Even in her wealth of wisdom and power, Evangeleen was not immune from the book's horrid curse. She was loosing all sense of reality and self-control and her mental facilities were disintegrating right before Soth very eye's! The Dark Knight was now drawn to an irresistible calling to set thing's right once again, his undying love for her, their long past together. He would not forsake her in her hour of need. But more over, if matter's were left unchecked, unattended at this point, Evangeleen would surly turn on the Shrine family in her maddening state of mind. Without question...Evangeleen would destroy everyone and everything in her blinded path. This would prove catastrophic to the Vampyre's if Soth did not act quickly!

The Death Knight sat the Sith dagger on the oaken table in front of him. He steepled his hand's in front of his face in idle thought. His troubled eye's sparkled as he continued to stare at the flame that reveled nothing but the burning truth. Closing his eye's, Soth reached out to the darkside. Letting his dark Vampyre mind sift over the creature's throughout the Shrine...There was one he was now looking for, one that could never hide from his mind's eye...A vile and evil servant that Soth himself had empowered. Yes, the lich called Wicked Wraith had exactly what the Death Knight needed...The necklace!

"Come Wraith, terry not...Bring the necklace that is stained with "Nadia Raine's" blood at once. I command you...!" Whispered the smooth even word's of the Dark Knight as he spoke to the mind of the lich.

Fiery red eye's somewhere deep within the Shrine of the Damned ebbed to life at that very same moment Soth uttered the word's of command. Commanding word's that demanded the highest respect from a Master to a servant...

The lich's mouth gasped in a silent protest against the one who held power over him. His ruddy teeth gnashed and girded against each other as he arched and rolled his head. How he hated Soth, how he despised the evil death knight!...But his power as a death knight held him fast. Wraith knew by now he would never be able break the powerful bond that was forever sealed to time. It was his horrid curse to serve Soth Nuevole for as long as he existed!

"YEssss...Yesss, I have the necklace my foul master!..." Wraith hissing word's echoed within the blackness of the chamber he dwelt in. Word's that were tinged with an agony, a deep bitterness. Wraith knew full well that if he faltered in his action's to the deadly knight, he would pay with his very own existence...

Thrashing about the room he hissed and ranted as he looked for the bloody necklace. Ear piercing shrills admitted from his chamber as his rage grew to a fevered pitch...The powerful necromancer was infuriated by the time the necklace came into view. Wicked Wraith chanted word's of Sith Magic Soth himself had taught him. However, the lich had no real reason to do this at all, other then it was his uncontrollable temper that compelled him to do so. This is what made him so deadly and unpredictable.

"Ahhhh...You hide ole necklace, but I see you...Foul necklace!" Wicked Wraith screamed in defiance as if it were the necklace's fault for his delay to his master.

The beautiful necklace was snatched from were it was hid. Then the lich was gone!

Evangeleen Starbreeze

The night air was fragrant with the smell of sweet death as the lone woman stood next to a large Roon oak. The canopy swayed gently over head as image's filled her eternal angelic mind. She often wondered what it would be like to be one of them...Human. To find love and a sense of true happiness, to belong to only one, grow old and die with the one she loved as a mortal regardless of how fleeting the thought seemed to an Ieago angel, Evangeleen still longed for love.

Evangeleen sighed as she studied the small town of Enlope from a safe and obscured vantage point. The cool night air caused her golden mane to loft behind her, the shimmering white gown she wore pressed against her perfect form reveling her sensual curve's. Beauty that hid an overwhelming heart of pain and suffering. A lost soul in the midst of a lingering sorrow that walked at her side ever since the Death Knight had fallen from grace eon's ago. She never blamed the death knight, she only pitied him for the suffering he had experienced. Now she faced what he had faced at the Coven citadel, her sanity was slowly slipping from her into the recesses of insanity. Evangeleen was destined to help other's, only now she found herself helpless in the scheme of thing's...

The soft soothing voice of Soth Nuevole flooded her search less mind as she pondered the past, a past filled with decision's she would now have to face alone. And even though Evangeleen loved Soth as she always had from the start, he still remained much like a helpless child in her tender sight, a child that had lost his way so long ago when he was robed of his innocence.

"Such thing's should have never happen to one as yourself my beloved." Evangeleen whispered to herself as Soth continued to speak to her troubled mind, beckoning her to his chamber's within the Shrine.

"Oh Knight of the Rose, you entertain hopeless thought's of my salvation. Was it you Soth whom you saved from yourself my kindred spirit? Can you save what can never be saved?" Where her word's that lingered on the night air. She blocked his voice in that instant as she cut him off telepathically. Tucking the wisp's of hair behind one ear, Evangeleen continued to study the town with an unblinking eye.

"I will come and go as I please my naive knight." Evangeleen paused for a brief moment as the southern wind's over Enlope ushered in dark ominous cloud's, threatening to spill their content's at any given moment.

"It is far, far to late in the evening nobel one to look for one lost in the night sky." Evangeleen's wing's encompassed her form like a tattered cloak as the wind picked up around her. Soth would have to wait...It had always been that way from the start.
