You need to diversify. White rice is not only bland in flavor but also loaded with harmful chemicals.
Every grain of rice is a ciggarette if you consider the effect it has on your digestive system.

Going back to something THAT MATTERS...
It's also a good idea to edit your post, saying to delete it. Makes there less chance of errors, conufusion and so forth

Cause that's known as suicide and then I'd have all the people trying to stop me from kiling myself. :p

Shooting yourself. Killing yourself with cigerettes. You're still killing yourself, difference being you kill others with your smoke.

You smoke in room. You leave room. They enter room. They're inhaling your smoke.

what if you smoke in room, no one else but other smokers go into room.. or you smoke outside?

I've considered carrying weapons on my person, and when I meet someone who's smoking, offer them a faster, more efficient, less painful death.
Leeloo Mina
Nov 6th, 2002, 07:03:31 PM
And if they accepted your offer?
Zeke
Nov 6th, 2002, 07:26:36 PM
Hand them the weapon and let them kill themselves faster. If that's what they want to do, I can't change that. Cold hearted? Maybe. But then, it'll spare them the trouble of poisoning themselves to death. Have you SEEN the results of smoking? In middle school the entire school's student body was forced to sit through a two hour video of the results of smoking as part of DARE or something. Not a kid in there after that wanted anything to do with it. If I had the choice, I'd commit seppuku before I started smoking. Self-evisceration is a hell of alot faster, probably less painful, than smoking myself to death.

It was sick. People had to talk with these mechanical devices, huge cancerous things on their mouths an throats....ewww.
Smoking has got to be THE most UNATTRACTICE habit a person could take up. If you smoke, I won;t associate with you at all. I won;t speak to you, look at you, or even walk on the same side of the street as you. Smoking only hurts yourself, why bother doing it? It is the dumbest thing a person could ever choose to do. If I have offended anyone, I apologize, and if anyone on these boards smokes, you are off the hook, because I do not have to breathe the poisoned air that you create.

How most of you feel about smoking is how I feel about drinking. I maybe killing myself but at least I dont cross lanes when Im driving, killing innocent people or puke all over other peoples' floors, furniture, etc.
I try to be thoughtful when I smoke and if it bothers anyone and they ask nicely, Im more than willing to put it out.
Zeke, if you dont want to smoke, thats fine and dandy and I'll keep in mind your kind thoughts the next time I see someone injured from results of doing something that I think is stupid. Who knows, it could be you. Its a small world we live in.
And Wei, Im sure you have bad habits as well. The next time someone around me burps or poisons the air with passing gas, I'll totally ignore them for stinking up the place and who knows?..I might have just passed up on a person who could have been a great friend. But ya know, thats alright....cos Im following the path of the narrow minded ahead of me.

I used to smoke a bit. I've pretty much quit now. Drinking on the other hand...:)
I don't condone drunk driving at all. I frown on friends who've even touched the stuff getting in their car, regardless of how they feel. If someone gets themselves pickled, I try to keep them from getting sick, like a good samaritan.

I'll pick up a pack of Clove cigarettes every once in a blue moon. I just like how they taste. I'm not fond of any other kinds of cigarettes. If that offends you, then, well... I guess we wouldn't have gotten along very well in the first place.
I don't drink. I really don't like the taste of beer, in general, and so I don't see the point. I don't mind a single bottle of Smirnoff every once in a while, or maybe a Strawberry Daiquiri. :)

You smoke cloves???? Yuck, they pop and spark, and burn the lips.
:eek DON'T LIKE BEER??? PAGAN!
:headbash
Smirnoff is gut rot, unless you're talking about good ol straight blue label, which is still glorified rubbing alcohol, but decent for a mixer.
Daquiri eh....next you're gonna be talking about your "feelings" :x...and then going to Streisand concerts, you silly little man.
Then again...you do live in Miami, so I guess its okay to go for umbrella drinks year-round :)

Never once burned my lips on cloves. Here's a tip: Don't put the lit end into your mouth. :p
And yeah, I don't like beer. I've had several people sit me down and put me through a gauntlet of different kinds and I haven't found one I really like yet. You're about the first person whom I've talked to that doesn't like Smirnoff. It's kind of like Hard Lemonade, and I do like lemonade.
As far as the Daiquiris go: What can I say? I love strawberries. :) Fresh, Freeze-Dried, in a shake or a cake, I can't get enough of them.

Maybe I missed this in health class... but to my recolection, does burping or farting rot your lungs out? I tend to agree with Wei on this one... You're free to do what you like, but I do try to avoid people when they are smoking, just because I didn't choose to have that poodoo in my lungs... My entire theater class smokes, including the teacher, and I just have stopped pitying any of them when they cough up phlegm, complain of colds, allergies or whatnot. They decided to do it, and they'd seriously have to be living in a cave to not realize how bad it is for you.

Smoking bad, beer good.
although for some dam reason I tend to smoke when I drink, I prefer cigars. I never once drove home drunk in my whole highschool career and i never had to because the town I lived in witch had 60 pop (thats right 60 people) was party central for the whole county. I walked to and I walked home drunk from parties and never once got stop by a cop for staggering down the sidewalk for there was a lack of cops in my town.

People can do whatever they want so lung as they don't make me inhale it. I'm a total health freak when it comes to any kind of drugs (aside from alcohol) so I wouldn't touch cigarettes with a 50 foot barge pole.

hard to make friends with a person you can't even breathe around, Daiq.
That, and everyone, and I mean everyone knows that smoking causes cancer, and all sorts of equally disgusting diseases/conditions like leukemia. Smoking is guaranteed to turn your immune system to ****, as well as shorten your lifespan indefinitely. People have their larynxes removed and are forced to talk useing these wierd little machines. And even after that, they still smoke. I view smoking as an act of disrespect to yourself and others. Smoking does nothing good for you, or others. It's just a way to spend money to hurt yourself. So, not only are you throwing your good health away by smoking, you are also throwing your money away.
and as for my bad habits, I am forgetful, a procrastinator, and I tend to put myself down more than I should. At least all those bad habits only harm me.

Don't over exaggerate, Wei. I know plenty of people who smoke and they have the curtsey to not smoke right in my face, and don't constantly stink. Unless you're a total nicotine fiend and smoke relentlessly I wouldn't say that the smell is that big a problem.

I've not really tried much beer/larger/etc (I don't really know the difference between the lot, to be honest), but from what I have tried I'd much prefer an alco-pop to it :)

I'm considerate enough not to smoke indoors with people who don't like it...and thus I'm outside. When outside, I'm not exactly blowing the stuff in their faces either. And yes it gives you cancer...but so does grilled meat, fried meat, cell phones, sun tans, and LIFE.
I'm not gonna do anything in my old age except pop some viagras and get a penthouse subscription anyways, so its not exactly like I'm planning on breaking the centennial barrier. Besides, I have 125% normal lung capacity for the average person my size.
I wouldn't recommend frequent smokage, and I'm really reduced to a party smoker, but I mean....to flip out over it...thats really retarded.
