Yogs, I think you might win 8 mile. It's been selling out like crazy around here. Although Michigan is Eminem country, so maybe it won't do as well nationwide.

I just purchased tickets online to see it tonite.

Although I'm not sure what's scarier this fall, Curtis Hansen directing Eminem, or PT Anderson directing Adam Sandler. I'll find out soon enough. :\

Looks like you are right. 20 million dollars for a friday! :eek

Although, I knew from some crowd reports, it would be a big hit, 20 million was a surprise for me. Look at that screen average!

Wow that is unbelievable, I doubt it will do that the rest of the weekend it will probably end up around 50-55, as Sunday will be its lowest day probably, SC 2 is doing pretty well too, it mad 6.11 on Friday and Friday is probably its weakest day of the Weekend, it went up like 80% last Friday to Saturday it will probably make at least 20 maybe even go as high as 25.

I am still surprised about 8 Mile 54 million is huge. Also SC 2 is holding up very well , it might make 25 million when the actuals go up.
