View Full Version : Northward!

Morgan Evanar
Nov 4th, 2002, 06:39:47 PM
Thhhaaaats right kids, I'm going northward tommorow, closer to the Mason-Dixon line, where they actually have FALLL!!

(swears at Miami weather with high of 88 in November, furthering Nup's theory that the devil lives here.)

From tommorow until the 12th (next coming Tuesday) Charley and I will be wreaking havock upon the universe.

What does this mean for anyone RPing with me? I dunno yet. I am bringing me lappehtop and an ethernet card. But if I feel like going out in the evening, I AM. SO THERE.

PS: I'll try to take lots of pictures =]

Enjoy the northern exposure. :)

Its a nice comfy 50 degrees in the rain this evening. I'll be in the cesspool known as B'ham to pick you up in the morning. After that, who knows ^_^;

Probably end up bumming around with Akrabbim some. I know we'll see the Transporter, unless my web project is so far backed up that I have to go camp out in the computer lab.

...out of my thread kthx.

Anyway, I'm here. It rained yesterday, making for a cool, damp mess. Charley had a web design project so we didn't manage to really accomplish much.

Even though the weather was "sucky" it was nice to feel something other that REALLY GODDAMN HOT.

Its pretty messy here, but the couch isn't too bad (my "bed" for the week) and there is this Dr. Evil poster that I find endlessly amusing. I'm trying to talk both Akkrabim and Charley into Something Awful accounts, because they're funny people and would get use of them. Akkrabim is short and pasty, and pretty good at Soul Calibur 2 (which I'm not as good at as I should be because I'm not used to the arcade setup. I misseded the Dreamcast controller).

I found a new source of entertainment in JK 2 I had no idea existed - Force shot put. Completely twisted evil fun. Also, the Jango Fett action figure is really nice. I'm impressed with it, even though its just standing on the desk.

Nup: Neverwhere was absolutely excellent, and it helped keep me.... whatever my normal mental state is.

Well kids, I neeeds to showa. So I'll try to nab some film and find something absurd of me to show to you.

RIGHT!

Everyone seems to think 105 degree temperatures with 85% humidity is a good thing. It's not. At least if it's cold, you can just get up and do something. This heat is oppressive... it's like living in a steam room.

Its the genesis of a series of JK2-related sports. Force shotput, thermal detonator basketball, Luke Skywalker high jump, and droid pyrotechnics.

Today was boring (my fault).

Went to web design class (Morg got to laugh at my freakish professor)

Took accounting quiz...and ate good food.

Leeloo Mina

Its American Studies...essentially a hippy-esque retelling of modern history, from 1890 to 1970. I don't really understand the purpose of the course, but oh well.

Well most of my classes have an actual point. You go from point A to point B, and usually progress is measured in undeniable dollars and sense :)

But my required humanities credits...woo-boy!

James Prent
Nov 7th, 2002, 04:20:40 PM
(side note: James and Sanis Prent are not related in any way, shape or form. However, they MIGHT possibly have some sort of common anscestor...WAAAY WAAAAY far back. Just the same last name, that is all.)

My humanities classes were BOoooorring. It wasn't so bad, but the art professor would spend his lecture times showing us slide after slide after slide. Half the time he's say something like "I bet you didn't know that was what Moses looked like...but...he did. Apparently." Or: "I'm not really sure what this is supposed to be, but its important."

I swear I am not joking. I got a B. ^_^;
