They had said the death of her family was shocking, her parents where to young to die, they had so much to live for, they had no reason to leave..... Rose didn't care, at least not on the outside, for she had been taught that to show emotions was to be weak....

It was raining, just like that day, the day her parents where gone for good...She was being forced to stay at her Grandparents, two dottering old fools who think they know what is right....She looked at the ceiling of her room with dead eyes, she wonders if they'd go away like her parents.....Rose sits up, and heads out of her room, out of her Grandparents apartment, out of the building and into the rain.......

She started singing to herself quietly.

<center><font color=red>"A tisket, a tasket.
A red and <font color=yellow>yellow</font> casket......
Ring around the rosy.
A pocket full of posies.
Ashes ashes.
We all fall down."</font></center>

She continues to sing and walk until the rain stops, the weather on Corusant was always like that, never the same for long. She lets out a long suffering sigh and turns around, the Old Dotters will be worried if she goes missing for too long.

The clouds parted to reveal the moon and the light fell over Eris who watched the young woman for a moment. Her eyes flashed as she remembered where she knew her from. Eris growled softly, her old days were something she had kept from the Jedi, Eris had killed and she would do it again. For the moment though, she watched and waited to she what Rose was doing.

“Fee… Fie… Foe… Fum…”

A voice danced into Rose’s mind, the tone childish and almost naïve, yet with sharpness to it that suggested something more morose. If she were to look around, she would see only what appeared to be a street bum; a beggar crouched against the wall she stood by, huddling under the folds of a dark cloak. The hood on the robe shrouded the form’s face and no movement was made.

Eris looked over and smiled, a cousin of the Garou. She didn't know Vega but the force told her what she needed to know, that he was a darksider, it also told her of his power. She smiled again, perhaps there could be more fun to this after all, Eris then jumped down from her place on the roof to get a closer look.

"Hrm..."

Rose stopped in her tracks when she heard the voice that seemed to be spoken but not.

"fee, Fie, Fo fum.....I smell the blood of a Corillian...."

She turned around, and noticed the 'bum'.....He gave her an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach, as she turned her back to the man and continues on her way, paying the man no attention.

The scent of impurity was on the air, which meant a Garou was nearby, but he didn’t have the time to be chasing pups. Instead of speaking in a hushed tone, he stated his words aloud, in his usual haughty tone; voice laced with an unknown accent.

“Be she ‘live, or be she dead…”

Pushing a palm against the ground, he rose up to his feet, his cloak still around his body.

“… I’ll grind her bones to make my bread.”

Eris casually walked out from an alley and walked as though she had nothing to do with anything. She knew what her look conveyed, her white clothing was all a ruse to get others to trust her as being a nice Garou. Eris was the complete opposite, true she hadn't killed humans in a little while so she had only partially lied when she said she wasn't a human killer. Deception had been one thing Eris had been one thing she was always good at. Anyone who checked on her name would know she was named after the goddess of chaos and discord. Her jade green eyes watched both Vega and Rose to see what would happen for now.

"Don't trust him......."

A powerful voice rang out at the end of the alleyway. Piercing cyan eyes showed through the darkness, glaring across at Vega. She knew his Force signature well....and his presence was unmistakable. The woman stepped out of the shadows, her flowing black robes training behind her as she stepped. A soft claning sound could be heard as the silver coins in her waist length blond Garou Warrior Braids swung in time with her walking.

"Preying on children now, Vega? It only proves your weakness to do so....."

She called out to the Lupine as her eyes trailed down the way to meet those of a fellow Garou.

Greetings sister in Gaia.....

The voice softly said inside Eris's mind. She recognized this woman as the one her Father had been hitting on earlier that month. Smiling to herself as she nodded in the direction of the woman, her eyes turned back to meet those of the child.

"What is one like yourself doing out here all alone?"

Her voice was calm and soft as she spoke and there was a hint of comfort in the Jedi's eyes. Smiling to herself and exposing her elongated canines, she walked past Vega as if he was nothing, and crouched to look at the little girl.

"Are you lost?"

Darius Van-Derveld

"She does, it appears, seem to be lost." said the tall, red-haired man, who knelt down next to the girl.

"Are you OK?" he asked, gently, "You look cold..." he frowned slightly, and took off his coat, handing it to the girl.

He smiled at her, and said

" are you lost?"

sensing Vega's prescence, he smiled to himself, and said, through the Force,

"Let's make this a nice, family affair, eh?"

Eris smirked, showing her canines.

"Perhaps we should help her find her way home..."

::...with her parents who I sent to their deaths..::

She sent through the force to the ones she could tell were dark.

“Righteous to the last in front of your adoring public, Xazor. But we all know who wears the trousers in this relationship,” he sniggered.

Hands falling to rest on his hips, he smiled at the arrival of his son.

“You’re dreadfully outnumbered, Miss Dawnstrider. Out of your depth too. Go. Now, and I’ll forget this little incident ever happened.”

Vega’s eyes remained on the girl, a fanged-grin on his lips as he itched to let the blood-shedding begin.

Xazor growled deeply as she eyed Vega. Suddenly then she got the strangest feeling from Eris....something was not right. They would have attacked her if she was of the Light.....why had he not said anything to her? Lofting a brow in the direction of the female, she turned back to look at Vega.

"I'm done taking orders from you.....I'm done being some puppet on a string! I'm my own person Vega and if you think that you're going to rile me up enough and get me angry....you're wrong."

She said in a calm and soft voice. Her eyes went to the girl once again and the Garou Knight moved to stand in front of her, blocking her from possible harms way. With her mind she created a Force shield around the lost one...and held her own ground in case Vega was provoked enough to attack.

"I stand my ground as a Jedi, Vega......I will not fall at your hands."

Eris smirked showing her canines, the younger Garou didn't seem to understand things fully.

::How touching, does she really think she can do anything?::

She said with the force to the two darksiders, Eris could bid her time for now until the other two made up their minds.

Rose Von Himmel
Nov 12th, 2002, 03:37:58 PM
Rose huffed, and stepped to Xazor's side.

"Bad doggy."

She pointed at Eris when she said that, and huffed again.

"You killed Mum and Dad, bad Dog!" She furrowed her brows and frowned still pointing, but she turned, her boot making a squelching noise and pointed at Xazor.

"You're a bad dog, like her too, leave me alone."

Eris Alexiel
Nov 12th, 2002, 03:58:59 PM
Eris smirked, her grin now more feral looking than before.

::Remember me, huh brat? How about I send you to them!::

She sent with the force before she spoke.

"You must have me confused with someone else, I've never seen you in my life child."

Xazor Elessar
Nov 12th, 2002, 05:09:10 PM
Xazor shook her head slowly and looked at the girl with compassionate eyes.

"Me? I haven't done anything to you though. Please, you must give me a chance....not everyone of my race is so terrible. Only a select few...."

She said and her eyes darted to the others gathered around. The Knight was beginning to sense Eris's bad intentions and she sighed to herself.

"Your name is.....Rose.....what a pretty name. I'm Xazor....and I promise I won't hurt you. I'd protect you with my life."

The Jedi said softly, letting the girl know by her mere presence that she meant no harm and goodness dwelled within her heart...

Darius Van-Derveld
Nov 13th, 2002, 11:57:38 AM
Darius put an arm protectively around the girl's shoulders, a look of concern crossing his face.

"You dont want to trust her " he whispered, "Shes bad. " he stated, in a childish voice.
"See him over there? Go and stay with him. you can trust him." he said to her, pointing to Vega.
she looked unsure, and his eyes became solemn.

"Dont you trust me?" he asked, then, not waiting for an answer, said
"You can.
See, he's my Daddy. and you know you can trust me, cos i'm telling you about the nasty wolf lady. so if you can trust me, you can trust him too."

inside, he was doubled up with laughter, but maintained a look of "genuine" care for the little girl.

Xazor Elessar
Nov 15th, 2002, 05:42:31 PM
Xazor looked at Darius and sighed.

He'll only hurt you young one.....I'm a Jedi.......a protector. His family is made up of those that wish to kill you. Please....don't trust him.

She said softly in the girl's mind before directly addressing the Dark Siders.

"I suggest you leave.....if you touch her I shall have to deal with you on a more personal level."

Her voice was still calm and she held a true genuine concern in her eyes. It was evident on Darius's face that he did not care for the girl....the only thing he wanted to do was corrupt her or kill her.

"....Please.....don't be afraid of me.....he's lying to you and I wouldn't.....I've sworn my life to a group of people that are not to lie."

She said softly, holding out her hand to the girl. Inevitably, it would be Rose's own choice who she went with...but there was an unmistakable warmth surrounding Xazor...and no matter how much the Dark One's lied....they would not be able to re-create that warmth the Light offered the young Knight.

"....Please......"

Eris Alexiel
Nov 15th, 2002, 11:32:36 PM
"Ohhhh.....we're so scared. How does she know you're not bad, pup?"

Eris smirked, she was getting annoyed though at the younger garou's efforts to stop them.

Xazor Elessar
Nov 16th, 2002, 08:35:19 AM
Xazor laughed at the word 'pup'. Obviously, Eris didn't know how old Xazor really was. She knew nothing of her....not her extensive traning as a Sith long ago....nor of her present rank or abilities. Once a Sith Knight...now a Jedi Knight.

"It would be wise of you to know your foe, Eris....so perhaps you are making a great fool out of yourself by speaking. Oh wait....you don't have to say anything.....you were doing a nice job by just standing there."

The Knight sighed as she looked at the younger Garou and shook her head.

Loki Ahmrah
Nov 16th, 2002, 01:39:37 PM
"Sometimes I don't know why I bother!" The boy scolded himself, desperately scowering the wild, urban maze of the Lanus District. Over an hour ago he had left the research centre for weather and climate control for the galaxy's capital where he had submitted a sample of rain water he had collected several days ago. It's properties were unusually acid and that concerned him but according to specialists, mildly acidic rain is common for the region just outside the Jedi Temple due to the nearby industrial zones.

Not that it matters anymore, after an hour of searching, the young padawan simply could not relocate the repulsor-rail station to which he had been given directions, albeit poor directions at that. Unfortunately for Loki, he had been caught in a sudden shower and quickly fought for cover and there he waited for ten minutes until the downpour came to an end. Huddled in the doorway to a closed-down diner he had watched a small girl carelessly pass by singing a rather haunting song as she went along her way. His eyes followed her until she had dissapeared around the corner then once the rain had died away, he hauled himself up and trudged down the road in the direction she had gone. Little did he know what situation he would find himself in until the handful of presences were unveiled and cautiously he approached the group.

"Master Dawnstrider?" He leaned forward to see her face from where he was standing. Relieved to see a fellow Jedi of the Order he came closer. "Is everything in order here?"

It was a rhetorical question but it was something appropriate that would alert the Jedi Knight to his presence. He was already weary of the man harrassing the girl and the woman clad in white. His eyes came to rest upon a familiar face. First suprise, then brief amusement as he said: "Mister Van-Derveld! A little far from home, wouldn't you say?"

Ki-Adi Kindo
Nov 16th, 2002, 06:14:47 PM
Building by building passed by in an instant, and the opposing wind blew hard against Kindo's face. He grinned with excitement while speeding through Coruscant's atmosphere in his cruiser, returning from a Galactic Senate hearing. He was now returning back to his quarters in the Jedi Complex, hoping to catch a good night's rest before tomorrow when he would spend the day at Arcan working with his Padawans.

While passing over a small road, he felt two familiar precences nearby. His gaze momentarily shifted down towards his left, a group of about six huddled together. He began directing the cruiser over towards the small crowd.

It took only a brief minute or two to get there; he himself was bit of a speed addict. He pulled up alongside the gathering, recognizing two of them right off the bat.

" Xazor, Loki, what is going on here? "

His gaze then drifted towards the other three, and he after being around so many before he could easily distinguish their type; darksiders. The look upon his face grew solemn.

" Just who are you three? "

:: Lance Stormrider walked silently and slowly on the streets his red cape following him everywhere, his hand slowly passed through his hair from time to time when suddenly he felt something in his soul like a crash...his gaze shifted to the side as he started running and running he had no idea of where he was going letting the force guide him untill he finally saw a gathering of Jedis and Darksiders, Lance walked slowly to see Master Dawnstrider, Lance didn't need any reason to go there she saved his life once, he walked slowly towards the gathering of ppl as crossed his arms standing right behind Xazor he had spotted the dark jedi Vega VanDerveld he knew that when he was around it wasn't for a good cause, he didn't say a word but stood right behind her, his stars, lightsaber, strider blade ready::

"I'm older than you brat so mind your elders..."

Eris was not bothered by the Jedi around them, she was strong enough to handle them. She growled lowly though, she didn't like their presence.

Darius Van-Derveld
Nov 17th, 2002, 04:48:47 AM
"calm down, Eris. all in good time. i have a plan." he projected.

he smiled. Aside from Xazor, the stinking lightsiders didnt seem to have recognised him. Time to make his escape.

"Come on, We'll get you back home or something...."

Seeing her reluctance to go with him, he rummaged around in her mind, for something to use....

perfect.....

he shook his hair, and (at least to Rose) became a different person. Someone she recognised. Someone Eris might recognise too, if she had a good memory for kills...

Just a simple illusion, but one which may work, if it's what she wanted.

The return of her father.

"Come on," the image said, smiling warmly and putting an arm around her. "Lets get you home."

Xazor Elessar
Nov 17th, 2002, 10:54:50 AM
"Age does not compensate for the amount of wisdom one carries then. I guess you proved my theory correct, Eris...thank you!"

Xazor clapped as she spoke the mocking words then greeted her fellow Jedi with a bow of respect.

Thank you for showing up...now perhaps we can handle things the proper way.

She spoke softly in their minds, then saw what Darius was doing. She was quite an illusionist and saw straight through his...then with the Force, she gripped his arm tightly with an invisible hand and gently shoved him back.

"Don't touch her....she is not yours, Sithscum.."

Darius Van-Derveld
Nov 17th, 2002, 02:16:47 PM
Darius fell back, and the illusion howled in pain,

this should fix it he thought, as he made blood run from a slice in the illusion's arm.

"Rose!" he called, in her father's voice, "Keep with me! I can protect you..."

Xazor Elessar
Nov 17th, 2002, 03:38:06 PM
Xazor shook her head and looked at Darius, focusing the Force within his mind. Slowly she broke away at his illusion until she could clearly see Darius's face...his true face.

"See! He's lying to you Rose!"

She called out to the girl as she continued breaking away at his fallacy. Hopefully she would see the truth....

ooc: Guys, we should wait for Rose to reply too! :lol We all got a bit post-crazy. ;)

Ki-Adi Kindo
Nov 23rd, 2002, 08:12:49 PM
Kindo climbed out of the cruiser, his azure eyes locked upon the group of darksiders huddled mere feet away. With his arms crossed, he stepped up alongside Xazor. His head slowly turned has he gazed at each individual, his stare finally resting on Darius.

" Step away from the girl. She has done no wrong here. None of you have any reason to bother her. "

Eris Alexiel
Nov 24th, 2002, 12:52:43 AM
Eris looked at Kindo and smirked wryly once more before she spoke to him through the force.

:: Do you wish to die like she will, Jedi? Why don't you find someone else to save.....she's already lost and I will finish what I started long ago.....now do you wish to see another day or would you rather die by our hands for the sake of one child's useless life?::

OOC: kinda died this has....
