He stared out thw window of the tavern. He was sitting there, alone, having dinner. Most of the time, he didn’t mind being alone, but tonight, for some reason, he did.

He sighed softly as he reached for the beer that had been set on the table in front of him. He took a good swig, and then set it down, staring idly into it for a moment. And then he picked at a french fry, lifting it and dipping it in ketchup before he dropped it on his plate once again, not all that hungry.

Things had been changing so rapidly lately. It seemed that there was nothing that stayed the same for very long. Nothing that he could depend on 100% to be the same as it was the next day as it had been the day before.

Perhaps he was a bit lonely. Certainly he was in need of company, though, he likely would never admit this.

He glanced up as he heard the door to the busy tavern open.

At first she’d been a little disappointed that the Sith Knight hadn’t recognised her. After all, she knew his face from the Sith Order having only been there a few days, but then she imagined he couldn’t be expected to memorize every newcomer to memory. Lanfear had infact been sitting at a table across from Sasha’s for a good 10 minutes, simply watching him, and had noticed that his concentration had only been broken by the opening of the bar door. Seizing his momentary lapse into reality, she tried to catch his attention by giving a faint wave.

As he turned away from the door, he noticed a woman at the table across from his give a faint wave. Out of reflex, he looked in back of him to see who it was she was waving at, and seeing no one there, it dawned on him that she was waving at him.]

His violet eyes stared at her for a few moments before he finally realized why she looked so familiar. She was a new member with the Sith Order. He remembered seeing her walking through the halls as Lady Vader had shown her to her room.

A grin broke across his normally serious features, and he stood from where he was to walk over to her table.

“I didn’t see you there before…” He began, clearly at ease as he spoke with her. As she gestured for him to join him (occ: hope this is ok, if not I’ll edit), he picked his drink off of his table, and took a seat with her.

“We havent officially met yet….but I’ve seen you around the halls. Im Sasha.” He offered.

They were interrupted briefly as the waitress asked if he was going to be switching tables. He nodded in answer, and then turned back to Lanfear.

This was a little more promising; at least she was being recognised now.

“Always a pleasure to meet another Sith, Sasha,” she replied and held out a hand to shake.

“I’m Lanfear.”

He shook the hand that she had offered, momentarily sizing her up as either a little nervous, or just one who went by the books in terms of polite gestures. But he wasn’t one to judge off of first impressions. He had learned one too many times that this was not a wise decision to make.

“How are you liking things so far?” He asked, going with the traditional get to know you sort of conversation. He did not know her at all, and had not yet had a moment to ask Lady Vader of the new recruit. He had been traveling quite often, and it was hard sometimes to keep up with all that was going on back at the castle.

He rested his elbows on the table in front of him, his broad shoulders square to her as they spoke. He did not try to read her thoughts, but leaned forward slightly in anindication that he was interested in hearing her thoughts.
