The Game is to come out Tuesday, but Gamestop might pick it up tonight. That means, I have a very very good chance to get it tonight. I will play this game, ALL night and be sick from lack of sleep tomarrow.

Babbages got it in tonight, so my friend got an early copy. I talked to him on ICQ earlier and he's blown away by it. He waited in line for over an hour, and said all kinds of people showed up dressed in their '80s attire' for the game.

I'll have my copy by tomorrow... if I can wait that long.

I HATE COLLEGE!!!! Ok so I reserved my copy months ago, and GameStop called me that it will be available tomorrow afternoon, but guess what...my favorite Economy professor decided he would move today's exam (monday), for wednesday, with means, I HAVE TO STUDY ON TUESDAY.

I wont go to the store, it's too much of a temptation to have it here, i cannot afford a bad grade on a concentration course.

Fast Pace, must faster pace then GTA3 (Original) The vehicles spin out faster, everything is faster. Weapons seemed a bit weaker. Took 8 chops with a sword to take down a guy. Motorcycle crashes send you flying into the air, but besides that. THIS GAME CAN DO NO WRONG.

I heard you can go inside buildings in VC. Hows that look?

not as many buildings as it let on. I went into the Police Station, and was promptly shot up by 8 Police Men. (No Warrant BTW)
You can go into about roughly 1/50th of all buildings. (considering there are tons and tons of buildings, ya)

It is a bigger place. But it has no hills, giving it a kinda... flat compressed feel. I have yet to find or activate the airplanes or Copters, but have activated the boats. Big Whoop. That so called, jack someone's boat thing is crap. I was standing on the end of my boat, trying to get on the one next to me, but it started tweaking out, and next thing I knew, I was drowning. For a game that has a high magnitude of boat chases and shoot out on the water. Tommy's lack of swimming skill just plain sucks.

Hardly any? Make that none. The higest natural point in Miami is 18 ft above sea level, AFAIK.

Great game, fun and extremely fast.


My only complain are the graphics in teh cut scenes, I think they look worse than they did in GTA3. It is also kinda hard to adjust to all the pastel colors, my eyes are not used to it!!! The soundtrack kicks ***.

No Hills? No Hills? AHHHHHHHH! I can't stand seeing the land without any hills or mountains. Hawaii was cool, Volcano's everywhere. But I wouldn't be able to survive in a flat land.

Miami has only one hill and its a trash heap. Oh and the Expressway has hills, but there artifical and really not that big.

I nearly went crazy.. FL is WAY too flat.. especially compared to MO, lots and lots and lots of hills.

I think I played GTA3 once.. when they come out with a PC version of VC.. I'll pick it up.. after it's been releasded for a year :x

Another big difference with GTA3, this game is harder.

I got my protection ring set up, i got my chopper, i got my lackeys, I got every weapon type (i think) and still I can't beat the second cuban gang mission!

Every Type? That is not hard, but get all 60 (I belive) weapons, now that is hard. Finally got around to playing, got the muitiple heli platform. What I own:
Manson (Makes $5000, 1 garage, 1 heliport)
Ice Cream Place ( MmmMmMM, able to sell... cherry poppers)
Some Villa on First Island. (1 Garage)
Some Highrise thing near Stadium (3 Garages, 1 Heliport)
The Printers. (Makes $8000)
(Edit) Now own The Cab Place

I would have more but my friends where playing and using all my hard earned cash getting Paint Jobs they Liked, and buying The Most Expensive Sniper Rifle just to Die a terrible terrible death of falling off the edge of a high rise. They repeated this most of the night. Then they SAVED IT!!! The Horror!!! $4,000 Left!!! I need to make the rounds and collect me money, I broke.

If you're looking for hills worth ramping, there's a dirtbike track somewhere around. I forgot its exact location.

I've gotten the mansion, that's it, right now I'm stuck on the Cop Land mission.

Sitting on roughly 101,000 dollars.

Easy way to beat it, right after you blow it, run down and get the lower warrent lvl Icon. Then those Crazy Feds in the "Bronco" won't kill ya. Pissed me off a couple of times before I relized there was a Lower Warrent Level. There are two more in the general direction of the manson from the mall. Hit those, and at the end, your only 2 star.

I also have trouble with that Cuban Thing. Almost made it though... My OWN TEAM SHOT THE VAN!!! THOSE MORONS.

Here my plan, I throw some flamming Bottle Bombs at the enterance to the Haitian's place. So when they walk out, they BURN. Then Drive for it. I'll try it later when I calm down enough to play. Pissed me off.

Well I beat Cop Land mission... with three flat tires and black smoke pouring out of the hood. I noticed that Police Bribe icon the first time I tried... just never bothered with it.

We call GTA3: VC becuse that is the title. It uses the same game engine, same sounds, etc. It is the same game except in the 80's with tons of shooting, defending, missions instead of drive from point A to B.

mission 1: Get Candy Suxx
Mission 2: Dildo Dodo (Drop Fliers from an Airplane)
Mission 3: Martha's Mug Shot

Mission 3: Ok, the mission is you have to take some shots of a Congress Man hanging out with Candy while in Women's Clothes. The key to this mission is to make sure your Helicopter is behind the Hotel. I almost made it back, but the Cop Chopter started shooting me a foot from the landing ground. And FOR SOME FREAKING REASON, my IDIOT Guy wouldn't jump out! It was also a weak Copter called the Sparrow. Next time I'll try jacking a Cop Chopter, maybe has a bit more Armor...

And if you go into a side room, a big boned lady gives you a lap dance. And there are no Missions for the place yet... save your money, buy the good places.

I am stuck... Stuck on the Biker Missions, does anyone know an easy way to fill up the Chaosgauge? It has me stumped...

On the corner of that street there is a ladder. Go up to that roof and cross it to the other side (there is an old trailer u can buy cheap for 1K, which is good to save after every biker mission), on that side u have a great look of the street, start shooting ppl, blow up cars and choppers, and you'll make it.


What I can't pass is the 4th assasination mission, thos private security guys are tough!

and 4th Assasination? The Telephones? The one you have to kill the guy at the airport? That easy, drive into the airport, and find the helipad, and fly away with the ease of batman. Bypase all those Guards

Wait until you get into the last pay-phone mission, it's pretty hard but it's one of the funnest ones by far.

HOLY CRAP!!! I got up there, started blasting stuff, but I CAN't BEAT IT!!! 2 freaking minutes, and the most I got was half way! How do I do it? I got up to that shack place and kept BLASTING shiza but I still couldn't win. Is there a way to get more time? Dammit, I killed that Cop Heli 3 times!

You're talking about the Cherry Popper mission? Once you get up to the shack you're supposed to climb up on one of those little ramps and sneak up on them. They won't notice you, and just start blasting.

There is a rocket launcher near the piers. Is on the road you take for the airport, there is a two story building with a pool to your left. In the pool there is the rocket launcher.

BTW, my brother also passed the biker mission just standing outside the bar and shooting everything that moved.

for the Chaosgauge mission you need to find the gatlen gun and its a hard <smallfont color={hovercolor}>-Censored-</smallfont> piece of material to find. Me and my freind got so furstrated we just cheated it in. Thats about the only way to win use the gatlen gun on everything.


Right now me and my friend own almost all building you can own that me know of and the last mission we did involved a bank robbery.

Me and my brother started fighting over the control (i'm 19, I havfe not fight will my brother for like 3 years now), and when I jumped him he yanked the control, and boom down went the PS2 with Vice City inside. Now the game will play for like 10 minutes and then get stuck!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know a good way of solving this problem, please, i'm on the verge of buying another Vice City.
