Well my birthday is like a week. I want advice on some games I've been looking at.

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast & Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault

Do you need a joystick for this game?

Half-Life:Counterstrike

Do I need any other Half-Lifes?

Depends if you buy the Retail Version of Counter-Strike or half-life itself.

I recomend buying the battle chest with Everything, that way ou can still install new Mods for Half-Life.

For the other's, all you need is a mouse.

I'm gonna get all of 'em. Be it gift from my parents or purchase out of my own pocket.

Buy retail halflife- don't bother with anything else. TFC and CS are free.

Further, FPS gaming with a joystick, well, you'll find out very quickly that you're being schooled by people with a mouse and keyboard. Buy either a Logitec or Microsoft optical mouse. For a pointing device, anything else is crap.

I have a 5 button MS optical. Luv it.

Also, UT2k3 is FUN. Great, great great stuff.

5 Button Optic Mouse... **Drools**

I still got the mouse from 5 years ago, 2 button ball.
(Not even a Wheel!!! The Horror! Takes me .8 seconds to switch weapons, and during that time, I can't move forward or backward!!!)

Wow, maybe you need to make a good keyboard config? Hrmm... too easy.
