Password reset required

For account named Jackie Chan.

I tired to do a reset, but I got hit with 20 odd emails for password resets for a whole stream of accounts. For people with multiple accunts on an single email address, that could be annoying - and poses the question. Do I now have to reset ALL accounts that have Darth_turbogeek email addresses?

This is one annoying trait with vBulletin, agreed. I think the way it works, you only need to reset the Jackie Chan account (by clicking the confirmation link), then just ignore the other emails, as nothing will happen as long as you dont click any links in those.

If you dont like a lot of reset emails, there is a way around that, by temporary changing the email for the account in question, by editing user "Jackie Chan" in the mod control panel.

vBulletin is not really made for people who have more than one name registered per email address, thus why the PW reset feature is a pain for people who do have multiple names registered to one email address.

Anyhow, the problem is resolved via the PMs Marcus and I traded. :)
