The way I took your post was that you took all the power you could muster and used it to create the little eartquake deal with the cracks and the fire and whatnot. IMO you've been allowed a good bit of leeway here, considering what your doing would take a Sith master speciallizing in pyrotechnics to pull off. And thats assuming they could focus enough power to cause an earthquake or the magnitude you're talking about...
But if the arguement here is about the force wall, then Im only wondering if you can draw all this power into your body and then release it, wouldnt that release the power you're using to put up the wall?
