Okay......not even in RP threads where that is a characters demeanor? :lol I'm just wondering because I have a really bad Assassin who is really ticked at everyone all the time....and he has not been raised very well and his vocabulary is.....'limited'. :lol If you want me to change it, lemme know....just wondering because I can't think of other ways to stress it.

Use made up swear words. Like "Frell" or "Vulk".

It just is! Frell.....in the middle of a book........ :lol It's not even a word! (though they made D'oh! into a word, so I don't see why they wouldn't with other strange things......hehehehe. ;)

Made up swear words are the way to go.

Ones I have seen used:

Frell <--from a SW book
Vulk <-- from Nup
Dren <--thank Dalethria for that one
Krasst <--that one's mine ;)
Sleet <--that one's my brothers
Blood and bloody ashes <--Robert Jordan.. :D
Emperor's black bones! <--LV used this the first time I ever saw it

There are more, really. If you read any RP you'll see any/all of them being used.

Emperor's Black Bones and variations thereof are in a few SW novels. I think there's one about his teeth, too.... not too sure about that.

Vulk is from C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy.

Dren is another term made famous by a TV show, Farscape.

9 hells of Corellia? I've not heard that one. Interesting... even more proof that there are some vestiges of religion present in the SW Universe (7 Heavens and 9 Hells).

Nearly everyone recognizes these words, and if they don't then I'll eat my...boots! No I won't, either.

I said it aloud and my cat attempted to kill me. That has to be one of the most bizzare and lamest things I've ever heard.

It's an insult both to the person and their car ^_^

ooh insult the car...oooo

Monobrow = unibrow, I'm assuming...where the eyebrows grow together and become one. Like Bert. The "doff doff" eludes me, however... o_O

To LD: I told you it was from The Sims! I knew that's where it had come from. Best word integrated into the SWForums vocabulary so far. It would be quite entertaining to see some characters wave their hands in desperation and cry out: "Ootable!"

:lol

Sim-speak is amazing. :)

"Dis grohl is falshey!"

I'd still consider you lucky, Gav. I keep wanting Dave to play a gig in his current home state, but he hasn't.
