I just thought about this, but now with this name, I've got 2 characters using pics from actors who were in LotR :lol

It made me think of how many LotR actors/actresses are being used here, even counting uses from other movies or shows. Boggles the mind a bit, the more I think about it. Eventually, its gonna be changed from six degrees of Kevin Bacon to six degrees of LotR...its so connected.

*I* am certainly not from The Lord of the Rings, Master DeWitt. Hmph.

Yet, I can see you point. If my processors were capable of laughter, I imagine that I would.

Marcus - Aragorn
Hrothgar - Gimli
Dasquian - Legolas
Kelt - Faramir
Xazor - Eowyn
Helen - Arwen
Sliff/Loki future - Frodo
Anbira - Saruman
Jackson - Samwise
Shadow Jedi (I think a Marcus alias?) - the crazy hooded dead guys
The B&G bouncer (forgot name) - Balrog
Aaron - random prancy elf?

Somebody plays Galladriel (sp) which I can't remember
Somebody's got Ian McKellen which I also forget

Then I'm sure somebody out there has Agent Elf for something and I can't really remember.

Seth had a hilarious Saurron parody sig, but that was more for laughs than anything.

Vegz, you never heard of six degrees of Kevin Bacon???

And Seer, the first thing I did when I saw Samwise in the theater was chant "Rudy, Rudy, Rudy..."

I know what you mean Fig :x

I hate the Irish....not with the passion you have though, since our issues stem back from the days of Bear. To counteract that, I inserted a pleasantly happy Bear quote :)

We're gonna go inside,
We're gonna go outside,
Inside and outside.
We're gonna get 'em on the run, boys
And once we get 'em on the run we're gonna keep 'em on the run!
And then we're gonna go! go! go!
And we're not gonna stop till we get across that goaline!
This is a team they say is good, but i think we're better than them.
They can't lick us!
So what do ya say, men?

We have the CFL here as well as NFL, but I just don't get it anyways, it's boring >.<

Although, the one CFL slogan is great...
"Our balls are bigger" :lol

I'm not interested in CFL. Its pretty much like XFL, with 2 strikes against it for being a professional sport, and another strike for simply not enough gimmick.

Now, what is a lot of fun is Arena Football. Condense a field into 50 yards, subtract 3 or 4 people from the fielding limit, and remove the sidelines. They should call that deathball or something. Its so cool to watch. Not to mention, if you've got somebody with a sharpshooter mentality and a good kicking foot, you can hit field goals from your own territory :D

The score, therefore, goes through the roof :D

I'm only passively interested in pro sports though :\...just doesn't do anything for me, to see these guys get out here and expect millions to play. I like to keep tabs on my school's alumni (cough*Shawn Alexander*cough, and others) and see how well they perform in the pros, but I don't follow NFL, NBA, or MLB with any regularity. IMO, they should do away with pros entirely, and concentrate more on collegiate games, and maybe even high school. That is where you find the difference between people who play because they can, and people who play because they love it. No stupid paychecks involved...no egos on bank accounts, no strikes. If you don't like your situation....you don't have to play. But I guarantee you'll find more heart and desire on that level...even if the average talent pool is way less.

Hate the Irish? I assume that's some football team and not the Irish in general, yes?

Zeke
Oct 14th, 2002, 06:44:18 PM
You assume correctly. The Irish in this context would be the football team Notre Dame.

Jackson DeWitt
Oct 14th, 2002, 07:36:10 PM
My bad :o!

Yes...the Irish refer to Notre Dame, as their team name is the "Fighting Irish".

I myself am part irish descent, so I cannot 1/16th hate myself, as it would be silly.
