I know the portal page is supposed to contain Star Wars related material. Pretty obvious, right? Star Wars board, Star Wars articles.

What if I wanted to write an article about a non-SW topic? Would that be best placed in one of the other forums, or would it still belong on the portal?

I am thinking the answer to this is no, but I am not sure exactly what the portal forum rules are, so I am seeking clarification.
