OOC: hehe...I haven't done one of these in a while

:: Sorfax had been plagued by a surge of enemy activity. The sith, and their minions had plundered the main cities and surrounding areas, sending the populus into a sense of panic and chaos. A desperate plea had been sent to Coruscant, and the Jedi Order.

It was answered.

The lean silhouette of the runabout Oozaru cut through the atmosphere, on its descent to the planet. Smooth hull paneling pulled back, allowing landing struts to drop down, supporting the ship's weight. All around the landing zone, the epicenter of one of the latest Sith raids lay in disarray, ashes and embers decorating cracked firmament and foundations, and accompanied by other debris of war. Bodies lay here and there, unfortunate testaments to those who could not leave in time. Indeed, the attack was fresh...and the attackers likely still quite near.

The gangplank lowered, and a thin, dark-clad figure walked slowly down it. His eyes were fierce, and his hair shock-white, was drawn back in regal form.

The Greater Jedi Order had sent reprisal, in the form of Anbira Hicchoru. The reckoning would no doubt be at hand. ::

Pitch black.

It was what welcomed him as he roused from an unintended sleep.

Pitch black..

Engulfed his form so that he could not even see his own hand before him.

Pitch black…

Described the feeling within his heart as he began to remember where he was.

Pitch black….

Must be escaped before it completely overwhelmed him.

Garmollo saw an old man and a green man.

"Old man. Hey old man."

"What are you doing out here, where it is dangerous?"

"You're as ugly as he is."

"You make no sense sometimes."

Garmollo's personalities were at it again, as always. At least the conversation was still good humored. That would not last too much longer, though.

Where is your guard dog, old man?" Garmollo sneered.

"We ought to call you Grandpappy wrinkles."

"That was so lame."

"Can you do better?"

"Well, if the old man is dead, we won;t have to call him anything!"

Garmollo took his weapon in his hands. It was a sickle with a short handle so he could weild it in one hand. in his other hand was a long chain, coiled up to amke it easier to handle. On the end of the chain was a metal ball with four blades raking forward.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get him!"

"Heh, go back to the nursing home, geezer. You stand no chance."

He drew his rusted blade with an evil glint in his eyes. He needed someone to take his anger out on. This fool of a man would serve that end well.

:: He arched an eyebrow at these two. One, was obviously a lunatic. The second was merely an unenlightened fool. ::

I'm sure thats what you told the people of this town, though I am here by all my innate power to assure you that the hunter has now most certainly become the hunted.

:: He allowed an assured smile ::

I am sure your meager skills were sufficient on peasants and wetnurses. Against my power, you will be swept aside like dust before a hurricane. If only your wit of tongue transmuted into wit of steel. You may have been defeated with dignity, then.

:: Anbira spread his arms apart from his body, throwing back the brown cape on his shoulders, and exposing the ancient blade of Gallanthor, clipped to his belt. ::

He was on his back, that much he could tell in the darkness that fully enveloped him. He began to recall the circumstances preceding his current situation.

The Oozaru was being prepped for launch, to where he had not been told, but he had decided to help the hangar staff out by checking on the food stores. That’s right, he was in the food storage area, that was the last place he had remembered being. Reaching up high for a…

One of his hands moved to his head and he could feel the remnants of a lump, where he had apparently been struck. The inflammation was fading quickly and only itched as the cells regenerated themselves.

"The lights in here must have been turned off as part of the pre-flight check.." He began to think to himself still lying on his back in the darkness.

"..But that would mean that we are no longer at the Jedi Order Facility if I have been unconscious for a while."

Green eyes grew large but could not be seen. Eldrak had a fear of starships and disliked traveling on them due to a past experience with them. He had meant to start working on getting over that fear soon, but this was not how.

"Where in the Universe am I?" He mused starting to reach his hands out and around to try and get a feel for where in the food storage area he was lying, so he could find his way to either the light activation switch or even the exit.

"Feh. An old man with delusions of granduer. How pathetic."

Then you wish to test my words? Do begin, of course.

Pathetic old man. He must have been senile.

"As you wish."

Garmollo released the sickle and began to swing it around, letting the chain get longer and longer with each swing until the sickle came crashing down on Anbira's head.

"No holding back, eh?"

"He's an old man, you should toy with him first."

"Shut up, this will do just fine."

The Jackel leapt at Anbira, drawing his sword and attacking in the same stroke.

"Today you DIE, old man!"

:: With a wave of his hand, Anbira redirected the inertia of the twirling sickle, sending it back and away, toward the leaping Inu-Aku. The slack of the chain clotheslined the Jackal, and continued back, the blade burying into a nearby tree. ::

No, you fail to understand. You cannot win here.

Cold lifeless durasteel.

It was all his hands could find in the absence of any light, but one of the surfaces was much smoother than the others and he assumed it to be a wall as opposed to a storage rack.

With one hand on the wall and other probing above him, he slowly started to try and rise to his feet. If it was indeed a wall, scouring the surface of it as he tried to make his way along it may yield the result of finding either an exit or a light, either of which he would gladly accept at the moment.

Inu was thrown off his feet, but he quickly recovered. His eyes shone with rage, his smile wild and filled with malice.

"You think I'll be stopped by the likes of YOU?"

And once more he charged at Anbira.

SNAP-HISS!

:: In a moment, Anbira had fielded his blade, in a small movement, his body remaining stationary and only his wrist seemed to move. He moved as little as was necessary to meet Inu's charging blade, and it seemed as if the frail old man would be swatted aside...

...looks are deceiving, and Inu soon found out, as his momentum ceased on the edge of Gallanthor. Anbira's feeble frame was much stronger than one could determine with their eyes, for his great prowess was in the physical realm of the Force. With the strength of a titan, he repulsed Inu's sword, sending the darksider's charging momentum back against him, nearly causing him to fall backwards. With new distance between them, Anbira snapped the hilt upwards, in a chivalric gesture. ::

Can you defy inevitability, my friend? I should hope for your sake that you are more inventive than to challenge me without your wits as allies.

:: The old Jedi rose his free hand, away from Inu, and pointed at a nearby duracrete wall that stood as a remnant of a bombed-out home. With a sound resembling a thunderclap, the stony structure was broken to pieces, in a cloud of dust that billowed out from the epicenter. As a greyish haze settled, Inu began to be assailed by stony debris, rising unnaturally from the rubble heap, and accelerating to strike against him. The bits were small at first, but soon grew larger... ::

The Jackel could do nothing in the face of the barrage but cover himself as the onslaught took him. He glared at Anbira through the barrage, anger rising. No old man could possess such power! The Jackel's katana shifted and grew, the pattern of rust extending out into a longer, broader blade as the nanotechnology felt the rise in Inu-Aku's rage. As the barrage subsided, he found himself barely on his feet, but anger and pride wouldn't allow him to fall.

"Death to you, old stone!"

“An activation switch!”

He exclaimed aloud, while pressing it at the same time, not even sure what it was. But knowing what it was wouldn’t last long as the floor seemed to drop right out from under him and what he sought quickly found its way inside. Light filed the storage area at the same time he started to fall out, following the access panel that led to the outside.

As Eldrak began to tumble, he heard a clanging sound as the lowering panel was struck by something. The last remnants of the airborne debris had sent a stone crashing into the panel. The panel’s movement and change of angle sent the stone reeling off in a new direction, a direction that sent it flying directly for a new target.

Inu-Aku had just made it to his feet when from behind, a baseball sized rock struck him square in the back of the head. In the direction it had traveled from Eldrak rose to his feet, shielding his eyes, unable to see what had just happened yet because his eyes were still adjusting to the change from complete darkness to the light of day.

The Jackel staggered, the world dimming, then slowly turned to see Eldrak, the new focus of his anger. A twisted metal spike flew at Eldrak from behind, directed towards the Padawan's heart by the Sith's anger.

Garmollo regained control of his weapon.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Garmollo bellowed.

Garmollo ran in to close with the Jedi master swinging the chain around and around

"I'M GOING TO CRUSH YOU!"

"YOU'LL REGRET THIS DAY, OLD MAN!"

"DESTROY! DESTROY!"

Garmollo's personalities were feeling a sense of blooslust and were quickly being swept up in their anger.

Garmollo punched with one hand and cut vertically with the sickle.

:: Garmollo's punching fist deflected just shy of its target upon an unseen resistance. A flickering white blade swept low, catching the upswinging sickle athe the terminus of the shaft. The less lethal portion of the weapon sailed upward, whiffing the air by Anbira's face, as the severed blade careened off to the side. However, Anbira was not omnipresent, and as Garmollo took his attention, the situation with Inu and Eldrak could not be handled ::

Something in the dirt as his feet sparkled and caught his eye. He knelt down to have a closer look at its source. At the very moment he knelt, the metal spike whistled by his left ear and drew his attention immediately back up from the ground to see what it was.

The spike was now careening towards Inu-Aku’s chest. With no hesitation whatsoever Eldrak used the Force to steer the spike on a different course. It became impaled in the wall just the Inu-Aku’s left. Eldrak had protected the Sith by allowing his own good natured instincts to let him act without consideration.

How or why the spike had changed direction wasn't something Inu was particularly interested in. What he did care about was this fool Padawan before him, that had the nerve to attack him in the back.

"You...will SUFFER."

The Jackel was across the distance in an eyeblink, fist driving for Eldrak's midsection.
