A quick ooc note, this thread is basically Toryn seeking a Master to apprentice him in the ways of the darkside. For now he’s a rogue Jedi, with no real knowledge of the Force. It’s open to all though.

The air was cold, and the night was still. Silence, aside from the wind’s bellowing cries, was all that nested inside of the temple walls. A stranger lurked in the abandoned ruins of the temple, awaiting in the darkness; for what, however. Only the dim flames emitted from the wall-mounted torches lit the oratory’s main chamber, the rest remain secured in gloom.

In the marrow of the ruins stood the Drow, his head bowed towards the stone surfaced floor. Closed, his eyes were shut tightly. Patiently he stood, forestalling whatever lay in wait. Voices laughed in his mind.

What is it you seek?

“Direction.” Spoken aloud, the Drow replied whilst no others were even in sight. And so he waited.

Speaking to shadows will get you nowhere, young one. Find what you seek here, and perhaps you will be satisfied... or perhaps the desire will only grow stronger.

The temple was a huge maze of slate and sandstone. Laced with traps and hazzards, one could easily get lost, or even perish here... the mighty stone gates, grown over from vines and mold, slowly opened, and a dark entryway was uneviled to Dyre.

Come.

At the sound of the voice, the Drow’s head lifted slowly. It was a faint whisper, burried somewhat in the crevices of his mind; but it was clearly distinct. A glance perused the shadowed room, only darkness was met. Then to the admission which opened from beneath the aged erosion.

So he stepped into the unknown, with no queries whatsoever.

As Dyre steped forward, torches that lined the walls lit up, one every thirty feet or so. There were a few visible twists in the path, each one leading further into the abyss. Right now there were only two ways he could go, left or right. It was impossible to tell which was corect, and it would be left for Toryn to decide.
