Silus was exhausted. It had been a little over an hour since his altercation with Kindo and the new republic (http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22835) back at the vacant office building. At first, he thought that Diego was "escaping" with him, though he soon found out that the Lupine was actually chasing him. So there he sat, perched in the top of a tree, looking down on the Vornskr below him.
Whilst in the tree, Silus had some time to think. He had put two and two together and figured out that his usage of the Force is what had sent Diego into his current state. He used this new knowledge, avoiding anymore force use.
By this time, Silus could have easily dropped out of the tree with a saber ignited and killed Diego, but his curiousity at this point wouldn't allow it. That and he was beginning to grow fond of his "adversary".
