Icky icky yuck ow I'm sick of biting down on gauze!

My tongue and bottom lip feel huge, and I have to hold two frozen sponges to my mouth...

..Otherwise, I"m good.

heh, well, at least you had a better first day than I did. I was puking blood for 6 hours when I got mine taken out. Plus, I'm allergic to anti-nausea drugs so I'm pretty much screwed.

Well, compared to other surgical... issues I've gone through, this was up there on the "good experiences" list. I've had a lot of major surgeries and much worse problems than teeth. :D

They gave me something that turned me into the human chatterbox for about ten minutes before I started puking. 'Twas quite funny to see me all puffy and chewing on gauze and talking a mile a minute. Not like I don't do that anyway....

You chew on gauze normally? :D

Ugh... Every time I've woken up from a nap or something, I've been incredibly weak and shakey. I got up last night to get some water and had to rush myself over to sit in the bathtub (It was the closest thing)

Go eat a banana. No, seriously, they are full of stuff that is good for ya and keeps you from passing out.

and yes, I DO chew on gauze normally. *Chomp chomp*

;covets wisdom teeth;

I don't want mine out, ever. Sounds too painful >_<

Its not bad. I took it like a champ. The only real issue was not being able to taste the only thing I could eat that day, which was caramel pudding. But I watched all the Kevin Smith movies while under the influence of Lortab, so that was hella sweet.

Ohh yeah. Snoogans.

'tis not too bad to have ones teeth out, at least you didn't have to have them out twice. A friend of mine had insurance that would only cover two at a time, so he had the uppers done and then had to go back and have the lowers done. Twice as much pain, but twice as much vicoden. Wooga!

Emiliana
Sep 28th, 2002, 04:45:22 PM
Yeah.. >.> My uncle was trying to talk me into having one side done, then the other a week later.

The pain isn't any less and it'll just cost more for two prescriptions of painrelievers..

Mrrh.. The only thing really bothering me now (Besides the pain from drugs wearing off) are the stitches.. They keep poking my tongue. ><

You gonna live? It'd be lame to lose an opponent to surgery...

*chews gauze too* the only thing that really bugged me was being numb, I hate that feeling.....

Ryla Relvinian
Sep 29th, 2002, 02:53:27 PM
Yeah, just be careful what you eat when you're numb or you'll end up thinking your bottom lip is a cheeseburger.

Ow.
