Has the styleset for Genosis changed?

I was experimenting to see if I could split the categories, which I succeeded at, but I switched it back because the scrolling was a bit too much and knowing if there were new posts in the lower sets of categories was a little tough, since I couldn't see the top column for new post indicators widen.
