Hey! Look, ma! It's my 1500th post! I feel even more special.

Things are actually going better for me today, I got 8 of my 16 grommets bound, my boning trimmed, and now I go to work on the easy bits, making bias tape out of flannel. I'm much more hopeful now that the sun is up. :)

Oh, corsets are pretty easy once you get used to it. Compared to robes, however, they do seem challenging to a beginning sew-er. I did a set of long black velvet lined hooded robes for the ep2 premiere for my BF and I and after those I was very glad not to see velvet for a very, very long time. Frightful stuff to work with, really.

The padme picnic dress should be pretty easy to do after this.
