I'm looking for one, hopefully who posts here on the boards, to help me with a little problem I've encountered in game. Or if you know anyone who is a Morrowind buff, could ya send them my way? Thanks.. :)

I think Nup plays Morrowind. Could be wrong though o_O

Well, the problem I have is that I picked up an enchanted claymore (i think it was a claymore... twas one of the two handed swords) called Furry. Well, I didn't read all of the enchants on it *thought it had a posion self on it* and that it damaged the thing you are attacking with it's heavy, medium, light and unarmored skills by twenty.

Well... the damage armor skills aren't for an advisary, it's for me. Everytime I accidently equip it, it lowers all of my armor skills by 20. So now, my unarmored and light are at 0, medium is close to 0, and heavy has dropped from 100 to 40.

I just want to know if there is a special something that I could get or use or do that would raise myskills back to where they once where, or if I have to re-learn them...

did you save over the part where you had your original stats? I'd just reload

I'll ask him then. All he does is go to med school, party, and play morrowind...so I think he'll have his schedule open :)

If the stats are red, then use the restore stats potions, like restore strength and such. That should do it. For the skills, if they are red, then there should be something thats pretty much the same.

I haven't seen anywhere a restore skill potion... only thing close was a Temple Shrine that upped my restoration skill by 5. :\

Hrm, the skills are red even when you unequip the sword?

Does a heal, antidote, or a bless potion fix it?

Been a couple months since I played.

Heh, I think I confused NWN stuff for Morrowind.

I have the PC version and think that curse might be what it is. Aren't their healers at the Imperial Cult temples that can heal?

I belive so

PC version here.. and yeah, Og's.. you had me going o_O

I tried three different Imperial Cult Alters as well, nothing. Maybe a healer... just need to find one. Or maybe an Armeror could help out. Since these are my Armor skills we're takling abuot. ^_^

It might be a curse... though one of the shrines or something should have been able to heal it.

Other than a curse, I would suggest Corpus but I doubt it..

Hmm, if you can't find anything in game then you could use the console and put your stats back to the number they were. I don't remember the console commands at the moment.

It's not corpus. I'm immune. :)

Though I prolly will end up having to do that...

But I was just fudging around, and my defenses are pretty tight as it is without the skills up to where they were.

*went to fight Daggy Ur for kicks and giggles without finishing the main quest... we both 'died' at the same time. ^_^

Ah well, thanks for you're help, all!

*will still be looking for more answers, if people wish to give them* :)
