(ooc: Do what you want with this – can end up in a fight or just an rp for character building. Im cool with whatever.)
IC:
The hotel bar wasn’t really the kind of place he would normally be found. It was perhaps a bit more upscale than his rather down to earth (uh – or any planet for that matter ;) ) tastes. He was a knight of the Sith Order, newly knighted, and though humble about it, quite proud of himself. He considered it one of his greatest accomplishments so far in his life, and aside from the fact that he had worked most of his life to help support his single mother, it was a great accomplishment. But despite the change in title, he was still an eighteen year old kid from a middle of no where planet who much preferred hanging out at the local pub drinking beer with his buddies to the sort of establishment in which he now found himself.
He didn’t smoke often. It was something he did occasionally while drinking, when stressed, or now, just because he felt like it. He inhaled deeply, blowing the smoke through his nostrils as he exhaled. He hadnt expected to be on this planet overnight, but troubles with the ship he’d taken out had made it impossible to return to Corellia without a few repairs first.
After settling into his room, and a communication back to the palace so as not to cause any concerns, he made his way down through the lobby and to the bar.
His eyes flickered occasionally to a screen showing news clips and gambling lines for the hotel affiliated casino, but mostly they focused on the ale he’d ordered, and the cigarette he’d just lit.
He was dressed quite simply, and though he hadnt gone far from his room, he still carried with him his lightsaber and a blaster. Past experience had taught him not to leave home without them.
His violet eyes were obscured every so often by an unruly lock of hair or two that tumbled into his eyes. Rather than having a drink, he likely should have gotten a haircut, but he was feeling relatively lazy, and was quite content where he was.

:: I entered the place and sniffed the air barely, it was there in the very element that the humans breathed in and out. It was like a perfume to me, something that I myself gave off like a cologne. It was the darkside, and someone here breathed it out like they had a cigarette down their throat. And there he was, it was... Sasha... I think that was his name, I remembered him from searching Dios' memories when I was bored. Interesting... I looked a little like Dios too, I wondered if he would recognize the similarities or not.
I let my power sift outside my body and let my presence flow over the people within the room, this was like me holding up a red flag for Sasha to see me enter. I didn't even turn my head as I passed by two people, who, by my simple presence, had them fighting over a game in seconds. I smiled as I slipped into a chair before Sasha. This smile was almost the complete smile I had felt Dios do so many times while I had been trapped within his body. This smile was not warm or friendly, merely a smile saying, "I own this universe; what are you doin here?"::
How are you... Sasha? Did I get that right?

As he inhaled once again, he could feel an interesting presence. The smoke hung in his lungs for a moment, and he nearly coughed it out rather than exhaled through his nose as he preferred to do. His head turned - rather snapped - in the direction of the presence.
It was oddly familar, yet...yet he wasnt sure who this was who knew his name.
"Yes, its Sasha." He replied, inhaling a short breath, and turning his head for a moment to exhale so as not to be completely rude.
His violet eyes studied the person who had taken the seat beside him.
"I'm not sure I caught yours. Or perhaps I'm a total jerk for not recalling it...." He stated, his voice relatively relaxed at the moment, if not almost a lazy drawl. His expression did manage, in earnest, to look apologetic for not knowing who this person was that had approached him.

:: The smell of the cigarette annoyed my new lungs and I didn't pleasure the sharp pain I felt from it as I inhaled the smoke. I grinned for a moment before using the force to momentarily shut down Sasha's senses. I reached forward and snuffed the cigarette out and then threw it aside, and then as I sat back down, I let Sasha go from my hold and he blinked for a moment, not realizing that any time had passed and that his cigarette was no longer in his hand. I smiled as I extended my hand, as if nothing had happened.::
My name is Fiend, I don't know about you being a jerk, either you are or you aren't, no difference to me. I personally don't know you but my... friend, Dios did. And from what I recall, when he met you last, you weren't so laid back.
:: My bright red eyes turned to him for a moment, I wasn't really staring at him, but more into his soul. How interesting, such a human from earth. He wouldn't even be able to sense the intrusion because I was already there, in his mind, but he didn't know that. And was it really an intrusion? I had been there since he had been born hadn't I, the darkside?
Since gaining sentience I had gained a bit of admiration for these creatures who walked about, walked with the lightside, constantly striving to create more and more while I had constantly destroyed it. But anyways...::
So now that we know each other, how are you doing? How is knighthood? A great pleasure it must be to be recognized for going up in the ranks of a sith order and gaining more access to the power of the darkside.
:: I pushed the words out, as they were slowly fed into my mind from his own. It didn't matter if he wondered about such things or not, I'm sure if I tried hard enough, I could've found it out otherwise. But just scanning him wasn't enough, I wanted to know what his own force signature tasted like. I barely tugged at his own aura and took in a bit of his force. It was just like getting a finger sowed back on, just more of myself added to me. But it was different, imprinted with Sasha's own style. Interesting... and all he would feel is me seem to become a more familiar figure to him in his mind as I seemed to emanate a similar pattern that he did in the force.::

It felt, for a moment, as if time had stopped. And then his cigarette was gone from his finers, snuffed out. His violet eyes narrowed, his relaxed attitude folding under the uncomfortable feeling. He had not put his cigarette out. He had been enjoying it. But he said nothing for the moment. He wasnt so easy to penatrate as Fiend would like to have thought. His admission to knighthood had not been an easy process, and it had not been given without the knowledge that he was capable of certain skills.
His expression held a positive response at Dios's name.
"Yes, I know him...." He replied, his face frozen for a moment as it suddenly came to him. This man resembled Dios, though, only faintly to him.
As the topic changed to his knighthood, he eyed the man uneasily. How did he know of his knighthood? Once, he had carried his thoughts on the surface so easily, now, he did not. HIs former master, Lord Dyzm, and his current master, Lady Vader, easily accessed these thoughts, but others, unless he chose to let them, did not.
"How did you know of my knighthood?" He asked, his expression darkening slightly, his hand, going out of instinct to his saber.

:: I laughed. It was not anything like Dios' laugh, if Sasha could remember that; it was more like a metallic high pitched laughter that, if I chose, could break glass. I found the noise to my liking, most others did not. But I found it very amusing when his defenses rose up, not just his physical action of reaching for his saber but the feeling that he was trying to reject me. Reject me? I'd like to see him try. That would be funny, itd be lie denying your life itself.::
Sasha, I am your best friend, and your best fiend. I know many things when I sleep, because that is when my sentience does not effect my train of thought.
I am embedded within your skin, a pure saturation, that you call the darkside. I was developed within Dios' pathetic mind, his poisoned mind that eventually gave into the twisted words of the vampires, the vampires who were nice enough, if you consider them that way, to grant me a physical manifestation outside of Dios.
When you became a knight of the sith, I assure you, the darkside reveled as another gained rank in its power. Watch... I am there...
:: I put a hand to my face as I began to concentrate, it was much harder having my own body now, I didn't want to damage it at all. So I had to be careful. I began to feel myself out within Sasha's skin, reaching for the medichloriens that screamed of the darkside, the ones that yelled destruction in their own way, the ones that called to me like their brother, a very big brother.
Sasha's skin on his hand began to prick for a moment and then the skin began to squirm and twist. My other hand hovered above his and the skin began to rise up, as if called by mine. And then Sasha had to witness as the skin on top of his hand formed a mouth and seemed to mouth out the word, "Fiend!".
I sat back as the skin suddenly receded to normal. I let out a sigh, my eye was bloodshot and that made the glowing iris look worse than before. I smiled a bit as I looked to Sasha for a minute, dark sweat ran down my face.::
You see, your skin calls to me.

He had learned some time ago not to trust his eyes, but to trust in the force. In the darkside.
Even as the skin on his hand rose, and he felt his stomach twist in a somewhat nervous knot, he refused to believe.
And the laugh, the laugh had been so high pitched.
His violet eyes remained on Fiend, and his hand on his saber.
"Why dont you explain this a little bit more..." He replied, willing to hear this fiend out, but still refusing to accept as the word, that this was all true.
"And what did you do to Dios?" He asked.
He got the general gist of what this man was saying, he wasnt stupid, but he was a very good student, and he wanted proof, and facts to back this up. He had questions that would need to be answered. He wanted to understand in full.

:: I laughed even more at this, he was refusing to accept me! How funny! How entirely amusing! I didn't feel like telling this Sasha about my life story though, talking got boring after a while. But as I rethought how this night was going, I laughed again, it seemed hysterical but wasn't really, I just laughed like that.
But how to share it, with him willingly? That would be the real question... I placed my hand on his hand and in that instant, it felt like to him that he'd been struck by lightning, that raced through his arm and into his head.
It was like what I had seen but in rewind from this moment all the way to my coming of sentience. All too realistic to be a lie or illusion, because Sasha felt all of my evil and destructive thoughts as it went by and he could feel all of Dios' past thoughts too, as I had been trapped within him. It showed the pain that I felt when I recieved my new body, what it was like to fight the padawan Zeke, my dealins with the jedi while I was trapped within Dios, and then he was shown how I mentally broke Dios in half so that I could take control and take full advantage of sentience.
Sasha was shown every thing I had done, from breaking Dios to stapling his girlfriend to the wall. The whole time, outside of the flashback, I sat back and silently shuddered with my own laughter. He could not deny it, and then the flashback reached the end, and then I had to stop, Sasha was mortal, he could not process what I saw as the darkside, he did not have the capacity to control the will of the medichloriens.::
Do you see clearly now?

It was an almost painful experience. At the very least, it was uncomfortable, and in only moments, Sasha felt as if he knew too much. He drew back for a moment, staring at Fiend. And then his hand left his saber as he reached for the pack of cigarettes that lay on the bar in front of them. He'd bought the pack there, would leave it behind when he left. He'd only wanted a cigarette and a drink, but it had led to more.
He brought the cigarette to his lips, letting it dangle there for a moment as he stared at the man before him.
He knew darkness existed. Knew it because he had seen it, experienced it, and it flowed through his veins as well. But the flashes he had seen, he had not been ready for, had not expected to see these things this evening.
He lit the cigarette and exhaled.
"Yes, I understand." He replied, his voice even.
"What is is you want of me?" He then asked, wary, still, of this being. And after what he had seen, with good reason.

:: I held my mouth for a moment, and to keep myself from laughing again I grabbed a waitress that passed by and kissed her. Not just a kiss though, I had to get rid of that laugh, I turned the emotion into power and formed that into fire. I pushed the waitress away as she screamed in pain. I had burned her lips off. That was even funnier but I held it in better than I expected. I looked into his eyes for a bit, my glowing red eyes shifting with the light. I passed my hand over and one of the cigarettes flew to my hand. I examined it for a moment and then I watched as it burnt to a cinder. A rancid smell, but the use of energy was relieving nonetheless.::
You are good Sasha... very good. You're a knight, reaching your prime in the ranks of power. I admire those that are strong enough to get past the fledgling stage, the stage where you must prove yourself because you are constantly looked down upon. But now that I have a physical form, I wish for friends, not just people that use me, I'm tired of that. People considering themselves strong when really it was always me doing the great feats before people. I'm the one who lets you use that saber so well, I'm the one who lets you do all those amzing things. I don't have a choice, but now I wish to be more than merely a tool. I want companions!
:: I spoke as if I was a slave that was constantly abused my eyes betrayed me and I knew it, I reveled in the fact that it was such a blatant lie. Like the old emperor, power came with a price, and I had eaten away at the old man as he thought he had controlled the universe. How funny...::

Sasha turned away at the kiss. At the pain of the waitress. He couldnt stand to look at her as she rain away in pain and in terorr. The darkness flowed through his veins, anger driven, retaliation driven, even perhaps in lust of blood. But never, never had it been in a lust like the man before him.
He watched as he examined one of Sasha's cigarettes. It mattered little that one had been wasted, he wasnt planning on smoking many more anyway. This second one, he'd just needed after experiencing the story as he had.
"And you think I would make a good friend?" He asked, inhaling after he did so. A deep breath that he released through his nostrils. Though he knew by now it irritated his companion, and he was careful to blow it in the opposite direction.
He smiled faintly at this as his violet eyes looked to the darkness before him. There were strange things in this galaxy, and little by little, one by one, he was becoming familiar with them.

I think you would be a great friend. A great companion of the darkness. It's either stand in the ring of fire or stand outside with the maker of the ring. We all make choices that change the course of time and life itself. The choice of what is right and wrong is something that man has devised. I offer beauty, not right or wrong, but a land where a thousand errors come together to make one beautiful maelstrom of time, where no sign posts of evil and good exist.
:: My eyes seemed to dilate while I spoke, the pupils increasing so that it seemed my eyes were black, not glowing red. I was offering him an oppurtunity straight from the darkside itself. I have been the leading force of power since the beggining of time, when people with the gift were learning to use my power and now I came in as a physical being, come to lead now as a symbol of what I really was.
My hand slid up to my face for a moment. And as my hand slid down my face, it seemed to contort and change. As it finished, it was a mix of my face and Sasha's.::
You see? We are not so different you and I. At this very moment, I am you... your medichlorien rating is mine, I have mimiced you like a mirror, reflecting the darkness inside out. For in your very skin...
:: Sasha felt his hand shake a bit, where the mouth had appeared before.::
I reside, as the power you use. Like it or not, I am already your partner, but now I'm asking you wether or not you'd follow me physically.

Sasha cast a wary look at the barkeep who had beenobserving this strangeness. Immediately the man turned away, busying himself as best as possible by running a rag over the bar top, clearing glasses, anything to appear as if he had not been listening.
And then Sasha looked back to Fiend.
"Perhaps Im a bit confused as to what you're requesting of me. You've first requested my friendship, and then you've requested my presence in folllowing you phsically. And while a friend might follow another friend, it is not always the case for this to be possible."
He spoke without any sort of reproach, but rather, with reason.
"I have dedicated my life to the Sith Order." He stated, his voice soft, but full of pride and loyalty.
"I have sworn to my master that I will make her proud of me, that I will become the Sith she has forseen me to be. The one that I must follow is her, and as a friend, this I would hope you would understand."
He wanted to add that as a friend, Fiend would also have to refrain from controlling, or attempting to control him - but he was still wary, and as the ice he tread upon seemed thin, he chose not to push it further.

:: I suddenly twisted around and let my arm fly into the air. I laughed at the same moment that I snapped. The barkeep snapped in half and I smiled when blood spurted upwards, all over the back wall like a fountain. He had bent backwards so fast that his bone white spine was still sticking up in the air. I thought it would make a wonderful scultpture sometime if someone would bother making one.
I turned back to Sasha as if nothing had happened, he should know that to me, their is nothing right or wrong, just beauty. And as for what he had just said, I had perfectly understood what had been said outloud and not. My red eyes gleamed before I began to speak.::
Loyalty unwavering, I applaud you. Something required of a sith is devotion and you have it Sasha! But know that when she has taught you to open yourself to the force, that when you let the darkside flow reely, when your anger reaches its peak! I am there! I am the inevitable death everyone must face, the destructive force that so many try to fight but fail. And Death is now asking for a companion, for it has taken physical limits and must learn to adapt, and I believe that I will learn faster with your help.

The brutal slaying of the barkeep splattered blood in everywhich direction, some of it onto Sasha's sleeve. He stared at the crimson as it soaked in, and then looked back to Fiend.
"Was that necessary?" He asked.
"Now I'll have to get my own damn beers..." He muttered, half disapporiving, half ...amused? He normally did not take pleasure in senseless killing. When he killed, it was out of anger, or defense....it want something he did for amusement, but rather for release.
"Im willing to help, where I can..." He finally replied, for it was the most of a commitment he could make. His first priority was his training, and whatever Lady Vader requested of him.
"Have you considered joining the order? You'd be surrounded there by others who might be able to help as well...." He suggested.

Sep 23rd, 2002, 11:14:01 PM
Was what necessary? Death? Are you serious? Death is like breathing to me, it is nothing that I would rethink, unless a better death could be supllied. Destructon is my being, a force of unwavering death and blight. Think nothing of it. A simle answer to a question and for your beers...
:: My hand clenched and the beer tap in the back, still drenched with blood, slid from the wall and landed on the table before Sasha. I felt the sting of the power in the back of my head but I ignored it.::
I would not think it too hard for you to merely reach over now. I have considered the order but it does not seem to my liking yet. I am still searching the loner out there that walks through the garden of detruction alone.
SashaKovalev
Sep 24th, 2002, 08:42:13 AM
As the tap was yanked to the wall and set before him, Sasha rubbed his forehead, as if this whole thing might be giving him a severe headache.
And then he looked to Fiend.
"I'm not a loner." He stated. It wasnt defensive, it was merely a fact.
"I take my responsbilities to the Order very seriously, and what is best for the order, is ultimately, what is better for me."
He layed a hand on the tap for a moment, his violet eyes studying it. Lavarian Lager, was what it read. A local brewpub.
"True, I travel alone often, but Im not a rogue, if thats what you're looking for..."
Fiend
Sep 24th, 2002, 03:01:27 PM
:: My eyes flashed irritatingly for a moment.::
Did I ever say you were a loner or a rogue? No... Don't assume things, you've already pleaded your loyalty to the order twice now, why would I think you a rogue? Think my dear Sasha. I might be lookingfor a dark jedi but I am also looking for... whatever you mortals call them... friends? I will seem to need those as I go on in this universe.

Sep 24th, 2002, 05:34:40 PM
He saw the flash in Fiend's eyes, and nodded in understanding.
"My words, perhaps, were not spoken as wisely as they could have been." He offered.
"If it is a friend you seek, you have found one." He answered, a hint of amusement on his face, but sincerity in his words.

Sasha extened his hand as well, and they shook upon it.
In answer to the next question, he shrugged.
"I hadnt thought much about it." He admitted.
"I guess I was going to head back to Corellia in the morning, if my ship was ready to go by then."
"Where are your travels to take you?" He asked.

I am still searching for a dark jedi, one of immense power that might be able to help me breach the boundaries of flesh. So I miht coninue, but I will be stopping by Corellia also, to view the Order and see if it is to my liking. But I have a few other things to satisfy before the wretched sun comes into orbit and the moon goes over. Both give beautiful pictures of silhouettes when people die but the sun tends to distort it too much. Not enough darkness if you know whay I mean.
Either way, I must be going, Ishall see you again Sasha. Until then, here is a funny thing, focus into it, your darkside that is, and I will come.
:: I tossed the crystal to him then with a slight laugh as two poeple suddenly clutched their hearts as they stopped beating, I left.::

Sep 24th, 2002, 07:40:29 PM
Sasha accepted the crystal, giving it a curious gaze as Feidn made his way to the door. Sasha raised a hand, waving good bye to his friend.
"Good night, my friend." He replied, though as he did, Fiend slipped out the door.
Sasha stared for a moment at the crystal, then smiled, placing it carefully into his pocket.
He looked about at the destruction around him. Though a darksider, this did nothing for him. And so he stood from his seat at the bar and made his way back through the lobby and up to his room, all the while thinking about the discussion he had just had.
Perhaps he would see Fiend back on Corellia....
